Josephine

The car rolled into a slow stop in front of a towering black gate with intricate gold designs and patterns. I craned my neck to take a good look at the freaking mansion beyond the gate.

“Its a good thing that we’re at her family’s house.” Oma murmured, securing a gun inside her coat.

I swipe a nervous tongue across my bottom lip, glancing at her. “Why?”

She looks up with a smirk. “Because if she attempts something, it’ll implicate the whole Morozova family."

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER NINETY- EPILOGUE

One Month Later…The private airport terminal was quieter than usual, the soft hum of jets and rolling luggage echoing faintly through the polished space.Josephine stood beside Sasha near the large glass windows overlooking the runway, her fingers tucked into the sleeve of her coat as she watched the medical team prepare Pavel’s flight.A month. It had already been a month since the war between the Romanovs and the Chevaliers ended in blood and fire. And somehow… life had continued moving afterward. The French syndicate had collapsed almost overnight after Adrian’s death. The remaining factions scattered quickly, too busy fighting among themselves o choosing the next head, to retaliate against the Bratva. For the first time in weeks, there was peace. Or at least, something close to it…Josephine’s eyes shifted toward Pavel slowly. He looked different now, thinner and quieter. The left side of his neck was covered by healing grafts and compression bandages that stretched beneath the c

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER EIGHTY-NINE- New Begining

JosephineI stirred with a soft whine, every muscle in my body pleasantly sore. For a second, I stayed buried beneath the warmth of the blankets, still half asleep and tangled in the lingering haze of last night. My lips twitched faintly as I stretched an arm across the bed instinctively searching for Sasha. But instead of warm skin and hard muscle…my palm met cold sheets. My brows furrowed instantly and I slowly blinked awake as I noticed that the space beside me was empty.Completely empty.Sleep vanished from my body immediately.I pushed myself upright fast, eyes darting around the dimly lit room. The bedside lamp still cast a faint amber glow across the walls, but there was no sign of him.No sound from the bathroom and no movement from the balcony.“Sasha?” I called out groggily, but there was no reply.A strange unease crept into my chest.I slid out of bed quickly, tightening the silk robe around my body as I moved toward the bedroom door. The second I stepped into the hallway

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER EIGHTY-EIGHT- Henri

SashaThe door slammed open beneath my hand.I stormed into the recovery room with my gun raised, Oma slipping in behind me like a shadow with her silencer already aimed-Then I stopped.Because the scene in front of me wasn’t what I expected. A man stood over Adrian Chevalier’s bed with a pillow pressed against the old man’s pale face. The oxygen mask dangled uselessly from the bed railing while the heart monitor beside him beeped erratically. The man whipped around sharply at our intrusion, instantly pointing his gun toward us. “Who the fuck are you?!” He barked. My brows furrowed as I took him in.He was young, probably early twenties with dark hair slightly disheveled, expensive clothes thrown on carelessly like he’d dressed in a hurry. There was panic in his eyes, but beneath it…Hatred. Pure hatred as he glanced back toward Adrian.Interesting…Slowly, I stepped further into the room, my gun never lowering. “Henri Chevalier?” I asked coldly. The man’s jaw tightened. “Yeah.” He m

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER EIGHTY-SEVEN- Ambush

SashaI opened my eyes to darkness softened by the dim glow of the bedside lamp. For a second, I stayed still listening to the quiet hum of the air conditioner and the distant footsteps of guards somewhere downstairs. And the soft, steady sound of Josephine breathing beside me.I turned my head carefully, holding back a groan as the dull throbbing in my temple reminded me I still wasn’t fully healed.Kratoska slept curled against my side, one arm draped loosely over my waist beneath the blankets. Her blonde hair was spread across the pillow like silk, messy from sleep and falling over part of her face.A faint snore escaped her.It almost made me smile. She looked peaceful. Too peaceful for someone who had been ripped into the middle of my world and nearly destroyed by it.My gaze lingered on her face longer than it should have. The faint crease between her brows even in sleep, the dried tear tracks I could still barely make out against her cheeks. And suddenly, all I could think abou

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER EIGHTY-SIX- Ease Pain

JosephineSeeing Pavel wrapped in gauze was more painful than I imagined. The image still clung to me even hours later, the steady beeping of machines. The way almost every inch of exposed skin on the left side of his body had been covered carefully with thick white dressings.I still remembered the way Evelyn had broken down the second she saw him awake. The sob that tore out of her had sounded almost painful, like she’d been holding it in for days.“I’m so sorry…” she kept crying, clutching his uninjured hand carefully. “Pavel, I’m so sorry… this is all my fault…”And despite the state he was in, despite the pain medication clearly making him sluggish, Pavel had still tried comforting her.I remembered the faint squeeze of his fingers around hers. The rasp in his voice. “It’s not your fault, solnyshko…”That only made her cry harder.Even Sasha had gone quiet beside me and I knew he was hurting. Because those three weren’t just friends, they were brothers. And I could see the grief

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER EIGHTY-FIVE- Revenge

JosephineI blinked awake slowly, for a moment, everything felt… warm, soft and comfortable. Then it hit me that I wasn’t on the chair. My eyes snapped open fully as I took in my surroundings, the white sheets, the quiet hum of machines, the familiar sterile scent of the hospital, and the fact that I was very much in Sasha’s bed.Tucked in with a duvet pulled over me like I was the patient. My heart lurched and I sat up immediately, panic rushing through me.Why am I in his bed?Where is he?I was holding his hand- The memory hit all at once. I must have dozed off because I remembered sitting beside him, fingers wrapped around his, telling myself I’d just rest my eyes for a second.I swung my legs over the side of the bed, my bare feet hitting the cold hospital floor. Just as I pushed myself up, the bathroom door clicked open and I froze as Sasha stepped out.And for a second, my brain struggled to catch up. Because the man walking toward me now… didn’t look like the same man from tw

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER TWENTY THREE- Katya

Josephine My lips were still tingling from the aftermath of that brushing kiss that lit a wildfire in me. Sasha had kissed me with a hunger that stole my breath, a passion that made my knees tremble. And I kissed him back..... That was the part I couldn’t stop replaying in my head, how fast

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER NINETEEN- First date

The ride was silent, being in a confined space with Sasha always seemed to make me nervous and that just proves how heavily attracted I was to him. The way he turned the steering wheels, his muscles tensing underneath his shirt and those strong thighs of his that I want to- “We’re here.” Sasha

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER TWENTY- Road rampage

Josephine I blame Sasha. I blame him for invading my thoughts, keeping me up at night until sleep finally drags me under. Now, at the hospital, I’m running on fumes. This morning, he insisted despite my protests on driving me to work, refusing to let me take the bus. It wasn’t that I didn

  • BRATVA'S OBSESSION    CHAPTER FIFTEEN- My future

Sasha I couldn’t stop the wide grin of excitement that stretched on my face. What else but fate could explain the possibility of seeing Josephine at my underground fight arena? It was a hobby of mine to dabble into fights that were arranged for specific nights to recruit more men into the Brat
