Katrina POV

"She going to be fine, isn't she? It's not something serious right? She just passed out, don't you say? But it's taking forever for her to wake up!"

I almost scream, tears threatening to spill out my eyes as I watch Isobel sprawls on the bed through the transparent door.

Becca said she just passed out, but it's already been hours since that happened, and my friend is not waking up.

I turn to Becca, grabbing her hand in mine.

I hate that she doesn't care. She only looks nonchalantly with a stupid smile on her face like someone who's achieved her goals.

"Let's take her to the hospital!" I cry.

Becca wrenches her hand away from me, leveling her red eyes on me.

"She's fine," she breathes out. "Breathing just fine, Katrina. Why can't you see that?"

"Because she's not getting up!"

For fuck sake! She's been saying that now for hours, but I see no improvement with my friend.

What if something happens to her? What if she never wakes up again?... All because of me!
