Darian POV

A lot was going on in my head, how can it be? How is it even possible?

There were so many things that I needed explanations for and it looked like I was never going to get any.

How did this even happen? Why was she there? How did she get out of the prison and was right there in that office, with so much power and money?

She wants to buy out Baldore Enterprise? That's impossible, she must be very rich to be able to do that but she was doing it.

Why can't I see what was going on?

She was now a different person.

"It can't be," I kept saying.

It was hard to accept that things were no longer the way it used to be.

Camilla no longer listens to me.

I heard footsteps approaching the door, I arranged my tie and stayed well.

Selena walked into the house.

I turned and saw that she was the one. I wondered what she was doing here.

"You should give me a break, stop being in my face," I said.

I hated to see her face, I hated to see the way she looked.

"I live in this house with you. There is nothing you can do about that, accept it,” she rolled her eyes at me.

It was that attitude of hers that I hated the most.

"Find somewhere else to be, rather than walking around the place," I said with so much disgust.

There was no need hiding it from her that I was not interested in anything she had to offer to me.

I was doing all I could to ignore her and not try to kill her.

"Where have you been all through today? I noticed you were not in the office and you never told me anything," she said.

I raised my head and looked at her.

"How do you expect me to tell you where I go, the things I do and what I have done?" I frowned.

What does she think it is going to be? After I found out what she has done to me, she expects things to remain normal between us? It is never going to work.

"You should know that we do not have to be this way," she tried touching me but I held her hands.

"What are you trying to do?" I glared at her.

"We do not have to be like this all the time, aren't you tired of doing this? It should be some old habits already." She tried to touch me again but I pushed her hands off me.

I walked out of the house, there were more important things to do rather than let Selena get intimate with me.

We are not even doing that, I rather find some random girl to do it with.

I got into the car and drove to the hospital. I already texted my doctor, I badly wanted to be sure of what I saw.

I got there and met with the doctor.

"I already told you everything. I need to be sure, I just want to be sure of it," I said.

Selena could be playing some tricks with me.

I wish she was playing tricks with me, but it seemed it was true.

"You will have to wait for me here while I get the test done," he said.

I was going to wait, definitely. There's nothing that would take me out of this place, I have to find out about this today.

A lot of things were going wrong in my life. I was going crazy.

I sat there and waited for my results. The door opened and he got into the office.

His face said it all. I was damaged already. There was nothing that could be done.

"Your fears are confirmed, and yes, those drugs made you impotent," he said.

I knew it, I only wanted to confirm it, or maybe it was not but it was.

I got into my car and drove back home. I got home and found myself hitting the walls of the house like I was going to pull it down.

"I was trying to sleep, you should know when to stop." I heard a voice.

I turned slowly to see who it was and it turned out to be Selena.

I rushed at her and held her by the neck, I pressed it hard, making her hit my hands, trying to get it off her throat but I was stronger.

I felt a push, it was my assistant.

"You know your mother too well, you cannot do this. She won't be glad that you did this," he said.

I hated that Sam had to interfere in this. He would have let me kill her. She ruined my life and she was going to act like it was nothing, like she did nothing.

She rushed and grabbed a cup of water from the maid.

"What the hell is wrong with you? You should not have done that. We had an understanding. I do not want kids and you were okay with it," she said.

"That was not what we agreed, you told me you do not want kids for now, I thought maybe you could want them later, you did not have to do this to me," I yelled at her.

She was driving me insane. I do not wish to see her or speak to her.

"Get out, find your way out of this house, I don’t want to see you around me or this place"

"What are you going to do if I do not live? You have tried to kill me twice, I am going to have you reported, you know what that would do to you at this point in your life right?" She smirked.

Now, she is trying to manipulate me? I am Darian Baldore I will never be taken advantage of.
