Chapter 33

One week passed and I finally finished my first artwork. I was utterly satisfied by what my hands and mind had done.

"This is so beautiful, Alpha," Nanny praised as she studied my masterpiece. "I haven't seen any forest like this."

It was a magical forest with a lot of fireflies. There was a lake between the forest where the lights reflected on it. In the middle of the lake was a ripple caused by a firefly. And just above the trees was the moon casting its own light against the water.

"Thank you so much, Nanny."

"What's your inspiration to this?"

"My own imagination, Nanny. I dreamt of myself running here whenever I am hurt. This is my escapism."

She looked at me with pity. I couldn't blame her. She knew my pain. She knew what I went through.

"But sometimes running away isn't the solution to every problem, Alpha. You have to face it. Conquer it. Show to the world that you are not weak. You are not damaged."
