Kiara:
Opening my eyes has never been this hard.
The world felt like it was spinning, but I forced my eyes to open.
“Take it easy, baby” I heard Alessio whisper to me. His lips kissed my knuckle which he ran his thumb over softly.
I looked at him to find a weak smile on his face, one which concerned me as I tried to adjust to the dim light. I turned my hand in his and intertwined our fingers making him smile before he stood up and kissed my forehead. He pressed the nurse button beside my head before cupping my cheeks softly to kiss my lips. His lips gentle over mine as if he were to break me if he added anymore force.
“How are you feeling?” Alessio asked and I rolled my eyes.
“Like some tractor is walking on top of me, waiting for me to make a move for it to break every bone in my body” I said tiredly. I tried sitting up but Alessio put his hands on my shoulders, stopping me.
