MONDAY MORNING

"Elara will be joining me at the office starting today" was the only thing Elliot said on his way out. Clara had asked her daughter countless times why she was dressed so nicely but the latter did not know what she was supposed to say in response.

"Wait what?!" Clara said as they both walked out. "Isla?" she turned to her daughter and then to her son, who was still seated by the table. "Ronan, did you know anything about this?" she asked and he shook his head. "So Elliot made the decision on his own and just decided to update us about it?" she asked with a frown.
