Chapter 35

It took Taranis a couple of minutes to use the bobby pins on his hand cuffs and get free. By the time he did that, the electric gates had also opened from his cell.

“Turn on the microphone.” Leo told Caleb and he proceeded to do so. We caught some sounds but couldn’t make out what was happening until Caleb amplified and used noise cancellation.

“What was that?” I heard a guard say. The little camera could only show so much but I think I had an idea of what was going on. Soon enough, I heard sounds of a fight. Grunting and painful groans along with the sound of a fist meeting flesh and bone. I just don’t know who was hitting who and where. Seeing how Taranis handled that situation with Adam, I know he is no pushover and he knows how to take care of himself in a fight. There is no way that he is going to lose this.
