Dominic's POV
I sit here in Liza's room with a whirlwind of emotions running through my mind. I am shocked that our first mate, Elizabeth, is still very much alive. But hell who am I kidding, with how life has been to me, she’s going to want Alaric back again. I am never the chosen mate, and through out the years I have accepted that I would fall in love but never be loved.
While I continue battling my emotions and thoughts in my head, my thumb draws circles on Elizabeth’s hand, relishing the tingles running up my arm.
