Introduction

Shanaya:
Life is like a crumble cake. 
He he you must be wondering why am I describing my life as crumble cake . 
Well I am pattisier and I observe things just like I observe desserts and guess what it works I love to do so. 
My desserts are never disappointing be it, mousse cake, lemon tart and yeah my personal favorite brownie. 
I have been working as a pattisier in my mother's cafe, she has passed away an year ago but handed over the legacy to bring happiness with the help of my desserts. 
I am not praising myself but people say I cook great food. 


Yeah I am in love with desserts. 
I have a dream of being one of the best pattisier in the world. 


Besides I have a secret crush on one of the best chef of the country, my childhood friend Azeil, I know he is kind hearted I had met him in his restaurant once, he even offered me a job but I refused because I have to run this cafe.. 
I am working on a new dish, a pineapple tart with lemon mousse and pista crumbles, well I am okay with the taste but I have a doubt on its texture. 


What if people dislike it.? ?Okay whatever it is I have to introduce it to my customers and getting suitable feedback so that I can work on dish's betterment. 

Emir:

"Saute broccoli on my counter. "
I instructed my subordinate commis chef to to make the vegetables available. 
can't believe those critics are arriving today and these fools are not yet ready. 

Yeah I have added a new dish to the menu, the famous yellow chilly restaurant has given it's best ,be it in dessert or savoury dishes but I am kinda nervous whether they are gonna like it or not. 

As soon as I added red wine in it , it's aroma filled the whole room. 
This is my dad's recipe, I had always followed his footsteps and here I am the youngest sous chef. 

They say I am arrogant, but this achievement is not kid's play. 
Azeil has always supported me, and I am never gonna disappoint him for sure. after all he has faith on me. 

I added a proportionate mixture of basil, oregano, Rosemary and thyme and hell yeah this is what I expected for, now I am confident enough to present this dish in front of them

"Here is your broccoli sir" she placed a plate in front of me having a flirting gaze on me. I hate these kind of annoying chef, I keep ignoring those gazes, I just want to focus on what I am doing. 

" Emir they will be here in any time"
" Yes chef " 
I respect him, he is the executive chef you can say the head to prepare the dish, my rank( sous chef ) is one lower than him and he encourages me to prepare and experiment. 

After placing the freshly cut cherry tomatoes on the top, I added a bit of Italian seasoning to bring out the wow flavor in it. 
I tasted it and I think the taste, texture and color are balanced, I placed it in plain white colored plate to bring out the beauty of dish. 
dad always said, the customer initially eats through his eyes(look of the dish) then nose( smell) and then finally tastes it. so to be a great chef you have to work on all three perspectives. 

Finally they tasted it, aboyeur( waiter) served it and through their expressions looks like they are delighted. 
" Congratulations Emir they have liked the dish and guess what dad's recipe worked again "
I hugged Azeil, he is more than happy, I am also happy since he is again succeeded to make dad's dream come true. 
I congratulated executive chef and my subordinates for the success. 

Azeil:
"Sir we were this close for the project but.... "he paused a bit. 

"Butt what, are you mad, do i pay you to bring out those silly excuses haan.. "
I barked. 
I was boiling in anger, I just can't believe they are halting the project due to some insignificant cause. 
" Sir ctually there is a cafe over that area, we have talked about this to the owner but she didn't agree even after we offered her a huge amount "

" What a small cafe, ok James I am giving you 24 hours to get that plot for me otherwise you are fired, by hook or by crook just get that thing for me. " 

I just want that land, that is gonna be a significant place for my dream project. 
I am currently the CEO of most popular chain of restaurants, every body had heard about it. "the yellow chilly" restaurants. 
I still remember when me, Emir and Zach ( my brothers) were young dad used to cook for us. 
Mom left us at small age ( she expired) , I haven't seen her face but dad told us she was beautiful. 
Dad used to cook for us, he established a small restaurant in India named as " Son's" yeah he named it after us. 
He struggled a lot to educate us, yeah we were not at this state when we were young, he used to cook in his restaurant , he worked really hard. 
That's why I am here to make his soul proud, wherever he is I know he will be happy to see his restaurant chain mounting in these heights. 

Emir has become really cold and arrogant after dad's departure, he made himself busy in work so that he does not get reminded of dad. Whatever he shows to the world but deep down I know he loves dad, and is the most emotional person of the family. 

I am not that cold but yeah when it comes to my business I am really rude. 
Zach is still immature and always having childish behavior yet, me and Emir don't mind it and cheer it.
