Chapter 31: Friendly Face
I start to cry again. It’s all I’ve been doing aside from all of the research. Somehow, it’s become my second nature. I don’t stop myself from letting tears stream down my face. I don’t think I can, anyway.
Somehow, it’s like the pain and heartbreak has been embedded inside of me and all of the tears come out without stopping.
“Keira!” I hear my name called out just right after the sound of a door being forced open.
When I look up, it’s Titus. Though I can barely make him out as my eyes are blurry from all the tears, I could sense his presence and I could smell his strong scent.
