Lyric Adams pov

Wiping my tears from my face, I looked at my mate lying there.

“Do I really love him, or is it just because he was my first in many things?” I thought sullenly.

“He purchased me, used me, killed my brother, and married another,” I murmured softly to myself.

“Do you believe that you should move on? He's not dead yet,” Ojani whimpered, causing me to furrow my brow.

Something nagged at me, and it was about Camden's marriage to Jasmine.

“Do you know if Camden divorced Jasmine?” I asked Cesan suddenly.

He paused briefly and glanced at me.

“I don't know. I know that he verbally told her that he would the night she was caught with your father,” he answered.

“Camden told me he filed for the divorce when he first came to visit Sin and gave the paperwork to my dad to file, but I'm just now wondering if it was all bullshit. He wanted the Crescent Moon pack and would have done anything to become the Alpha,” I growled.

    Lyric Adams pov Sleeping soundly, I was startled awake at the bedroom door exploding into shreds of splintered wood. I sat up and saw my father. “CESAN! YOU BASTARD!” Sin roared as electrical sparks began to whip around him.
