LOGINChapter 7
Narat’s POV The bed felt so comfortable that I really did not want to get up anytime soon. I had not felt this relaxed in a long time. Wait a second. Why did my bed have a heartbeat? Why did it hold me? I opened my eyes slowly. HUH!! Why was I in Kasit’s arms? He cuddled me like I was his lover. I got up immediately. “What are you doing on the bed with me, you pervert!!!” “I will call you back later, nagging wife I ended up with.” He ended the FaceTime call. “Good morning, hubby!!” He looked at me and reached out. I knew he had naughty plans. I slapped him hard across the face. “Get away from me, you asshole!!” He laughed and touched his cheek. “I must be crazy right now… YOU!!!” His voice dropped. His eyes turned dead cold. He looked scary. He pulled me back down with force. This time he was on top. He pinned both my hands above my head with one hand. “Let me go, you jerk! You are trying to force yourself on me, but it will not work.” “Are you serious? Do you think I am a rapist?” “Yes, that is exactly what you are!!!” I could not believe he tried this after I agreed to the marriage. He had no right. “You snuck into my bed overnight just to force yourself on me.” He stared at me like I was a ghost. “You pretend so well, Narat. Yes, I tried to have my way with you because I got horny. Is there a problem with that?” His grip tightened a little. “Let me go this instant, you asshole.” “But I am just getting started.” His free hand slid down. It slipped under the waistband of my undies. His fingers touched my dick…..warm and deliberate. He wrapped his hand around it slowly from base to tip. His thumb grazed the head in one lazy stroke. I opened my mouth to curse him again. A loud moan came out instead. “Ohh… hum!!” He leaned close. His breath felt hot against my ear. “Now you know who is in charge.” His hand moved again……slow pull down, then up. The grip stayed firm but calm. My hips twitched against my will. He paused. His thumb circled the tip once more. It spread the wetness there. Another long, teasing stroke. My breath caught. My body betrayed me. Then he stopped. He let go completely. He pulled his hand out. “Let’s get ready for breakfast, pretty mouth.” He released my wrists and got off the bed. He acted casual like nothing happened. I tried to catch my breath. My chest heaved. What just happened? Did I really melt under his touch? I am straight. I should not enjoy anything he does. “To hell with your breakfast. I am out of here.” * In my sister's hospital ward, I held her hands, tears streaming down my face as I stared at her still comatose form. Anna's words echoed in my head: “Last night her ammonia levels spiked dangerously again. The doctors said the brain edema was worsening, and she was at risk of never waking up. They rushed her into emergency liver transplant surgery, but I was afraid to tell you the full details so you wouldn't have a panic attack. The good news is we found a donor match in time. It was the only way to stop the poison building in her system... but I worry just like you. It's been a year already since she has been in coma, and yet, she's still not responding. The bills are already in the millions, and we're drowning. I'll keep trying harder, look for more jobs to help you. Your sister is important to me too!” “Chutima!!” I called her name, my heart breaking. “Please wake up! Don't leave me like our parents did. You are the only one I have left. I promise to make money and take care of you, so please wake up already.” I bowed my head close to hers, still holding her fragile little fingers. She is all I have. My sister Chutima has adult-onset type II citrullinemia, also called Citrin deficiency. It struck suddenly when she turned twenty, causing hyperammonemic encephalopathy. The high ammonia poisoned her brain and plunged her into this coma that has lasted a full year now. When will she open her eyes again? When will I hear her tiny, cute voice calling me to say breakfast is ready? I stayed with her for a long time before I went to meet the doctor. I begged him to give me more time. I will clear all the bills now that I have Kasit. “When were you going to tell me you have a boyfriend?” “HUH!!” I pointed at myself, completely confused. “Stop playing dumb with me. Your phone kept ringing nonstop, so I decided to answer it.” She had picked up Kasit’s call. What do I do now? I can’t lie to her. How on earth am I going to tell her I married him just last night? “Narat, you are hiding a lot from me. You never told me you were into men. Guess I really don’t know you after all.” She frowned, arms crossed. “Okay, I will tell you, but let me clear the record first….I am not into men. Remember that morning I came home with love bites all over?” She stayed calm, eyes wide open, waiting for the rest. “Turns out he is my CEO at the new company where I got accepted to work. But it was just a mistake, nothing more.” I left out the marriage part for now. “Anna!! Why is your mouth still open? Are you okay?” Her expression looked weird. “Who would believe I get to witness a BL series in real life?” “YOU ARE INSANE!! I’m going to get something to eat.” “Wait……..tell me more please! Is he hot? Strong…?” * My first day at work, and I woke up really late after falling asleep in the kitchen. I rushed to catch a taxi and prayed silently that Kasit would not arrive at the company before me. According to the email about my role as his executive assistant, I needed to get there early, prepare his coffee, and have everything ready. When I arrived, the lady I met during my interview whispered, “You are so dead!! Our boss is really angry. Better make his coffee fast.” I nodded quickly and hurried to prepare it. I rushed out of the break room toward his office when I collided hard with a woman, spilling the hot coffee all over her dress. This was a total mess on my first day. “I’m so sorry, miss! I swear I didn’t mean—” Before I could finish, she slapped me hard across the face. The sting shocked me silently. “How dare you ruin my dress my lover Kasit got for me!? I will kill you!!” She slapped me again, even harder.Chapter 78Narat’s POVI ended the call with Kasit and put my phone down. My hands shook. My sister Chutima looked at me from her hospital bed. She had listened to everything. I did not know at first. Her eyes were full of worry.“Narat, please do not hide anything from me,” she said softly. Her voice was weak but full of care. “I saw the news on Anna’s phone. You love him, right? Kasit. Tell me the truth.”I sat beside her bed. A few moments later, I told her everything. My voice broke many times. She listened quietly, holding my hand.“Darika is desperate to break you two, right?” she asked.I nodded, my chest tight. “Yes.”“What if she cooked up this story? Will you give up on love so easily?” She looked at me with kind eyes. “Brother, I want you to be happy. You both love each other. I do not want you to lose it. I cannot wait to see him. Bring him here when things are better.”Her words touched my heart. I cried and hugged her tight. My tears fell on her hospital gown. She patte
Chapter 77Kasit’s POV I stood at the door of my family home, my heart heavy. The trip back felt long and full of worry for Narat. I pushed the door open and walked in. The living room smelled of medicine. My mother sat on the couch. She looked so sick and pale, her eyes red from crying. When she saw me, she stood up fast, her hands shaking.“Kasit! What have you done?” she screamed, her voice cracking. Tears ran down her face. “That boy manipulated you! End things with him now! You cannot throw your life away like this!”I took a deep breath and stood straight. “Mom, no one manipulated me. I love Narat. We are married. He is my husband and I choose him.”My father came from the other room. His face turned dark with anger. Before I could say more, he raised his hand and slapped me hard across the face. The sound echoed. My cheek burned hot.“I did not train you this way!” he shouted, his voice full of disappointment. “How can you do this to our family?”I touched my cheek and looked
Chapter 76Narat’s POVI woke up the next morning with a heavy body. Sunlight came through the window. My chest felt tight from the sea water last night. Kasit sat right beside me on the bed. His eyes looked tired but full of relief when he saw me awake. He helped me sit up slowly and gave me a glass of warm water.“Drink slowly, Sunshine,” he said in a soft voice. He stayed alert all the time. If I felt cold, he put another blanket on me. When I coughed, he rubbed my back gently and gave me tea. He never left my side. He always knew what I needed before I asked. His hand held mine tight, warm and steady. Thawan came closer from the other side of the bed. His eyes looked better now, not red like last night. He pulled me into a big hug. His voice shook a little.“Don’t scare us like that again,” he said like a big brother. “You got us really worried last night, please promise me you will be careful next time,Kasit will lose his mind if anything happens to you.”“I will but I know you
Chapter 75Kasit’s POVI was fast asleep on the couch, exhausted from the long, emotional day. The rain was pouring heavily outside, drumming loudly against the roof like it wanted to wash everything away. Suddenly, Thawan shook my shoulder hard, waking me up.I sat up quickly, heart already racing with worry. “Did something happen?”Thawan looked pale. “No… but where is Narat?”“He’s in the room with you,” I said, still half-asleep.Thawan shook his head. “He isn’t there. I woke up and the bed was empty.”We both jumped up and checked everywhere. Narat was nowhere. My stomach twisted into knots. The apartment felt too quiet, too empty. Then it hit me like a punch.“Narat sleepwalks,” I said, my voice rising in panic. “He sleepwalks when he’s stressed or having bad dreams.”Thawan’s eyes widened. “What? We need to look for him right now!”I grabbed a flashlight and we ran outside into the heavy rain. The downpour soaked us instantly, cold water running down our faces and clothes. We s
Chapter 74Narat’s POVThey weren’t locals, most of them had traced Kelvin all the way from the city, hurt and angry after being scammed by him. One of the women, eyes red from crying, stepped forward first. She opened a bottle of her drink and poured it straight over Kelvin’s head.“You liar bastard!” she screamed, her voice shaking with rage. “You took my entire savings saying you needed it for your sick sister! I believed every word!”Oh no. Is this what I am thinking is about to happen?Suddenly the drama escalated. More people joined, shouting and pouring whatever they had…..water, juice, even sand on Kelvin. The guy he had been kissing stood there shocked, backing away slowly. Kelvin tried to wipe his face, looking terrified as the crowd closed in.“You promised me marriage and took my mother’s jewelry!” another woman yelled, throwing a handful of wet sand at him.“You borrowed money from me for a fake business!” a young man shouted, his voice cracking. “I had to borrow from my f
Chapter 73Narat's POV The next afternoon, I sat relaxed on a wooden bench close to the beach with Thawan. Both of us wore sunglasses, shielding our eyes from the bright island sun. The gentle waves rolled onto the shore, and a light breeze carried the salty smell of the sea. It felt peaceful, the kind of calm I hadn’t experienced in a long time. We didn’t talk much at first, just enjoyed the moment together, listening to the water and the distant laughter of children playing farther down the sand.I noticed Thawan kept checking his phone. He typed messages quickly, then made calls, but no one answered. His face grew tighter with every failed attempt. After watching him for a while, I couldn’t stay quiet anymore.“What’s wrong?” I asked gently.Thawan sighed and lowered his phone, looking worried. “My boyfriend hasn’t been picking my calls or responding to my texts for days. I keep sending messages but nothing. I’m scared… what if something has happened to him?”I felt a pang in my c
