ARYM ZCHRYNNE “MaiMai” –
I bit my lip hard when I woke up the next morning. My whole body ached—especially the center. I felt like I’d been sawed in half. Everything hurt and stung, yet the guy beside me was still fast asleep. Snoring, even. I swear, I wanted to slap him. He looked so innocent, like some holy pope while sleeping, but last night he was a wild beast in bed. Tsk. Why did I even agree to a one-night stand with this guy?
I looked around. I was in an unfamiliar room. I got up slowly because everything hurt. I slapped my forehead when I saw my clothes scattered everywhere. My eyes widened when I spotted my underwear on top of the sofa.
“Shocks! What the hell happened to this?” I whispered to myself. I didn’t just sleep with a lion last night—I think I hooked up with a monster.
After getting dressed, I left in a hurry. It felt weird not wearing underwear. Like a part of me was missing. I ignored the stares from the house staff and guards I passed. I just rushed out.
The next day, I couldn’t go to work—I felt awful. I had a fever. I woke up to my phone ringing nonstop. When I checked, it was just a number. I wasn’t planning to answer, but whoever it was wouldn’t stop.
“Hello!” I snapped, shivering from the cold.
“Where are you? Who told you to leave your husband without asking permission?”
I stared at my phone screen. He was mad because I left without saying goodbye? This guy’s nuts. What is it with all the crazies lately?
“Excuse me, whoever you are. You’ve got the wrong number. First of all, I don’t have a husband. Second, I’m single. Yes, single—as in dumped. Third, I don’t know you. Judging by your voice, you sound like you’re fifty, so there’s no way you’re my husband. That’s all. Bye-bye!”
I hung up quickly, laughing. He didn’t actually sound old. Honestly, he sounded like Kobe Paras. I was just teasing him for disturbing my sleep.
Before I could even put my phone down, the same number called again. Persistent, huh? I wasn’t thinking straight, so instead of declining, I accidentally answered.
“What did you say? I sound like a grumpy old man? You think seven rounds last night weren’t enough, my wife? Where are you, Mrs. Arym Zchrynne Smith?!”
My eyes widened at what he said. Holy—never mind!
“H-huh? I-I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I said, playing dumb. Did he really think I’d chase after him just because we did it multiple times last night? Or that he’d get a repeat performance?
Over my delicious body!
“You’re denying me now. But don’t worry, I just got your info. Be ready—I’ll be there anytime soon, my wife.”
My nose was practically bleeding from all that English. Whatever, let him be.
“This is just a dream, myself. Just a dream. Just a dream. Please let it be a dream.”
I went back to sleep. I wasn’t sure how long I’d been out, but my mind was awake even though my eyes were still shut. I didn’t want to get up. The bed was so soft, and the pillow smelled amazing—like rub-a-da-bango! But wait… why did the pillow feel like it had abs?
I kept feeling around until I touched something harder.
“My little buddy misses you already.”
Oh no—the pillow spoke! I quickly uncovered my eyes.
Sir Jasper clamped his hand over my mouth before I could scream. I wanted to yell from shock and fear—he was in my room! But for some reason, my hand was still on his gearshift? Did I enjoy that?
“Don’t shout. It’s just me—your husband. No need to scream.”
Wow. Bold.
I grabbed his hand off my mouth and shoved it away. What if he just came from the bathroom and didn’t wash properly?
“Who knows where that hand’s been? I don’t want germs in my mouth!”
“Now you’re worried about that? Last night you spent forever sucking my—”
“Shhh! Shut up! My head hurts. What are you doing here? And how did you get in?”
I winced as I tried to stand and put on a bra.
“I have my ways. I came to fetch you.”
“And where are we going?”
“To heaven, then home. I’m taking you back. We’re married now—we shouldn’t be living apart.”
He said it so casually. I was confused.
“What marriage are you talking about, sir? I don’t remember us getting married.”
I only remembered the honeymoon part.
“I knew it would happen, so I had our marriage certificate processed quickly. And no—I didn’t trap you. It wasn’t forced. We both agreed to get married that same day. Here.”
He handed me a brown envelope. Inside was a marriage certificate with both our signatures, plus two witnesses and the officiant. There were also photos of us together. Some included other people—I remembered them. One was the bar owner, the other his personal assistant. The photos were taken inside the bar’s office.
I was speechless, staring at the pictures. Slowly, the memories came back. Sir Jasper was right—nothing was forced. I was the one who demanded it. Alcohol really is dangerous.
“Shit, I’m dead,” I whispered to myself.

I couldn't stop myself from groaning loudly when he sped up his hand movements."That's all? You were together for a long time. I even saw that he held your hand!" My mouth dropped open from the pleasure when he suddenly pushed his finger deeper. It was just a finger, but it was already scorching! It was like he had practiced well."There's more. Finish this first, hon. I will tell you everything. Please? This is a huge cliffhanger." I said in a pleading tone.Jasper didn't say anything; I just felt his lips gently touch mine, as if he was savoring their softness. He gently stroked my already very wet slit."Hon, please take off my blindfold. I want to see you." I had an intense desire to see how he was pleasuring me. Were these pregnancy hormones?"Nah. Not yet, my wife." Ugh! He really didn't want to take it off. It was like

Zion teased."Yeah, big sister! If I were you, before brother-in-law Jasper gets here, start crying first. Maybe he won't tie you to the bed all night. Bwahahaha," Zander laughed while teasing.I gave my two brothers a deadly look. I was already nervous, and they were just making fun of me. Should I take back the iPhones my husband gave them?"You two are so annoying! You're both ganging up on me. I said in annoyance to those two rotten eggs."Big sister Mai, you're no fun to hang out with," Zion said with a pout. They knew I would actually do

I just hoped she wasn’t this trusting with everyone else—she could get hurt. I might need to secretly hire her a bodyguard.I helped her stand and carried her bridal style. She was surprised but didn’t say anything—just clung tightly to my neck. I could feel she was still freezing cold. As much as I wanted to hold her close, I couldn’t just do that. When we reached the tent, my friends gave me meaningful looks, but I ignored them. Vince Russel smirked and shook his head at me. He understood why I was carrying a young girl. The medics quickly attended to my baby. I asked the driver to get an extra shirt and towel from the car so she could at least change her wet top. A female medic helped her change, and while she did, I grabbed a grocery bag to give her. Just

The powerful typhoon left massive destruction—scattered wreckage of homes, belongings swept away, and even a few bodies. As I watched the news coverage, out of all the places affected, I couldn’t understand why Romblon struck me the most. Something in me—some energy—was pulling me toward that town. I couldn’t explain the feeling, but I was sure something meaningful was waiting for me there.Dad told me that he and his business partners were organizing a relief operation. I didn’t hesitate to volunteer—I donated and helped with the repacking. My friends and their families also contributed generously. I was joined by Vince Russel, Cosmo, Yago, and the rest of our crew. Dad coordinated with the local government before we headed out. When we arrived in Romblon, we didn’t waste time. We immediately began distributing aid. While the others were busy, I decided to walk a

Imagine him threatening my boyfriend back then when we weren’t even together yet! That’s when everything Yasmine and I talked about came flooding back. She had long suspected Jasper had feelings for someone else because he started growing cold toward her—until he ghosted her completely. Turns out I might’ve been the reason. Oh my gosh.“Now that you’ve explained your side, I guess this is our official closure—even if it’s way overdue.”He nodded in agreement.“But… Can we at least be friends?”I agreed, even though I knew my husband would object. Jaimie reached out for a handshake, and I gladly accepted it. Ex-lovers can be friends, right?“But I heard something else, Mai.
