Natalie
"What do you want?"I asked the beautiful lady who's before me with a cute smile on her face.
"I want to see you,"she said calmly, and I looked at her with a confused look.
"I need your help,"she added, and I arched a brow at her.
"About what?"I asked as I stood up from the bed.
I wonder what her real intention was. She only introduces herself as the mistress of the Alpha.
I crossed my arm under my chest as I stared at her.
"Can you help me with the tips on how to handle the Alpha on the bed? I'm sure you must have use some unknown skill for him to decide to make you the Luna of the pack,"
"Since I can't become the Luna of the pack, but it's not impossible to share the Alpha with the Luna in the future, right? After all, the Alpha isn't a single minded person,"she said, with a naughty smile on her face.
I looked at her with a disgusted look on my face. I actually thought that she was here for a better thing, but I never knew that she's here for a tip on having sex with the Alpha.
I'm not only disgusted by the humiliation of Lady Suzy, but I'm worried about my fate with the Alpha. After this night, I'm going to become the Luna of the pack and there's no way to leave the pack again.
I decided to use her interest in the Luna position to my advantage. But how am I going to do that? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it. I smiled inwardly as an idea popped into my head. I just hope it works out for her.
"Why aren't you saying anything? Or do you want to keep the secret to yourself and enjoy the Alpha alone?"she asked, and I snapped out of my thoughts.
"Oh! I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, Suzy, right?"I asked, and she nodded her head with a frown on her face.
"I don't think it's necessary to give you tips that won't help you. I've something that would make you happy forever,"I paused as I tried to put my words into details so that she would be able to believe.
I've to shoot my shot right now because she's my only chance of leaving the pack, and running from the Alpha.
"So what is it?"she asked as she flaunted her hair.
"How about you become the Luna of the pack instead?"I asked, and she looked at me with a surprised look on her face.
"What do you mean? The Luna of the pack?"she bombarded me with questions. It's obvious that she's interested in the Luna position.
No one wouldn't want to be the leader of the pack, especially for one of the strongest packs, but mine is complicated so I can't possibly give in to it or accept it. So sad.
I can't be the Luna of a murderer who killed my loved ones.
"Yes I can make you the Luna of the pack. Not like I'm interested in the position anyway,"I said, and scoffed loudly.
"What? You don't want to be the Luna of the pack which everyone is wishing to become, especially me,"she said with an unbelievable look on her face.
I wasn't expecting her to believe it because it's hard to believe that someone could reject the offer of being the Luna of the Red Moon pack— the strongest and overrated pack all over the wolf region.
"Yes I don't want to become the Luna of the pack and if there's any chance I wouldn't hesitate to leave immediately,"I said, and she looked at me again.
"What do you think you're saying? You don't want to become the Luna of the pack?"she said more like a question, and I groaned out with a frustrated look on my face.
How am I going to make her believe me? I ruffled my hair, trying to bring up every single idea in my head. It's going to be harder like I'd expected.
"I'm serious. I wouldn't joke with something as serious as this. I just need your help,"I said, looking at her with a pleading look.
"Well the advice that I've for you is that the only way of attracting the Alpha is to play cat and mouse,"she said, ignoring my words like it wasn't something she should think about.
I called her back as she made to walk out of the room. I can't let this opportunity pass by.
"Please come back. These words are from the bottom of my heart. Please just try to believe me,"I said, staring at her with a sad and pleading look. She looked hesitant for a while before giving.
"Okay but how do you want me to believe you?"she asked.
I decided to explain everything to her even though I wouldn't include the part that he's the reason for the death of his sister since I'm yet to get any evidence.
"Oh! That's bad. I now know the reason why you choose not to become the Luna of the pack,"she muttered with a sigh as I explained everything to her in detail even though I neglected some parts.
"Yes, that's why I want to leave the pack. I don't want the Luna title,"I said.
"Though I've heard the story, I'm yet to believe that you want to leave the Luna position just like that,"she said, and I shook my head.
What can I say to this lady to make her believe me right now? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it.
"I would like to take my leave,"she said as she made her way toward the door.
I made a statement which made her stop midway.
"You might as well give me a chance to have a try to prove to you,"I said loudly, and she arched a brow at me.
"What kind of proof do you want to show?"she asked.
I stood transfixed to the floor, my hand stroking on my chin as I thought of the person who's the only one that could save me.
"Please can you help me contact a friend of mine who is the only person that I think could help me?"I asked, and she nodded her head gently.
Brian is the only person who can help me in this type of situation. He's my friend that I really trust. He works in the newspaper office as the editor-in-chief. We were partners because I also worked in the same workplace before I got kidnaped.
"Okay take,"she said, and stretched her phone at me. I collected it quickly before typing his number on her phone. I'm glad that I know his number in my head.
"Brian. This is Aurelia. I'm in trouble,"I said as he picked the call.
"Hello ma'am… Mr Brian isn't present in the office. He had just boarded a plane to his friend's wedding,"she said, and I hung up on the call with a sad look on my face.
I returned her phone with a sad look on my face.
"I'll take my leave,"she said, and walked away.
"What am I going to do? He's my last hope,"
"Why does fate have to be cruel to me?"
Does that mean that I'm going to get married to the Alpha, the murderer in disguise? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it.
Why does my life have to be unfortunate?
Ryan"How was the shopping you went for?" I asked, and she sighed deeply. "It's quite good and bad,""Can you tell me more about it?" I asked, and she smiled. "It's frustrating how the customers in the shopping mall keep bowing to me every single time," "This made me feel uncomfortable," she said, and I chuckled. "Don't laugh at me," she snapped at me. "I'm sorry but you'd feel comfortable about it since you're officially my Luna," I said, and she nodded her head gently."I think you're right but it's not quite…" she suddenly stopped and rushed into the bathroom. "What's wrong?" I asked myself and stood up from the chair and walked into the bathroom. I shook my head with a sigh as I watched her puke into the clean sink. I couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with her. She has been vomiting frequently for the past two days. I can't count how many times she vomited today. This can't possibly be a sickness. What symptoms could it be? "I need you to visit the doctor since you'
Natalie"Thank you for everything. I love you," I said and pulled him into a tight hug. "I should be thanking you instead. I missed you," he said, pulled away from the hug, and kissed my lips. I'm glad to have him in my life again. The last time I heard that he was killed in the forest, I felt empty and lonely. I'm glad he's back to fill me up with happiness. "You're the best that could ever happen to me," he smiled and caressed my cheeks. "Why are you telling me what I'm supposed to say to you?" He asked. "Because you're the best," I said."Of course, I'm," he smiled proudly, and I scoffed. "How do I look?" I asked as I stared at myself in the golden gown. "You look so hot and sexy that I want to eat you up right now," he said naughtily, and I blushed. "Stop flirting with me and focus," I said. "Yeah I know but that wouldn't stop me from eating you up tonight," he said and crooked my hand into his hand. "It's the time for the celebration, Alpha," a loud voice sounded shortl
Ryan"Doctor," I called repeatedly as I walked into the hospital with Natalie in my arms. She looked pale and lifeless but I don't want to believe that she'd died. How could she die when she knows that I need her at this moment? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it. "Where is the doctor?" I asked the nurse who rushed toward me and pushed the stretcher forward. I placed Natalia gently on the stretcher and pushed her hurriedly to the ICU. I looked up as the door pulled open and the doctor walked in with a stethoscope hung around his neck. "This is the patient sir," the nurse explained, and he walked closer to her. He placed the stethoscope on her chest."Get the oxygen machine to this ward right away," he ordered, and the maid rushed out of the ICU ward. Within two minutes, she returned with a machine that was beeping. He took a material like a nose mask and wore it on her nose. That must be the oxygen. I watched as the system beeped. "Please you'll have to excuse us
Natalie"Please don't!" I screamed out angrily as Damien forced a silver dagger into his stomach. Ryan fell on the floor with blood gushing out of her stomach. My heart skipped in fear as I watched Ryan lay on the floor in his pool of blood. "Damien stop!" I yelled out angrily and rushed toward Damien with a cold look on my face. I fell on my knee and held Ryan's hand firmly with tears rolling down from my eyes. "Please wake up," I cried as I held Ryan's hand. I shook his body continually. I watched as Damien smiled victoriously. I jerked up from the bed sweating profusely. I took a deep breath as I reminded myself that it was a dream. I'm glad that it was indeed a dream because I wonder what could have happened. "What's wrong with you, my lady?" She asked with a worried look on my face. "Where is Ryan?" I asked worriedly with my heart pounding heavily. Though it was a dream, it felt real and I believed it. Something has to be done before it's too late. I can't afford anythi
NatalieI forced my eyelid to open. I closed my eyes quickly as the sun cast its ray into my eyes. The brightness had almost blinded my eyes. I opened my eyes slowly after my eyes adjusted to the brightness that illuminated the room. "How are you, Natalie? How are you feeling?" I looked up as I heard a cold and familiar voice above me. A soft gasp escaped from my lips as my gaze landed on Ryan. He stared at me intensely with his green forest eyes piercing into mine. "Who is this?" I asked myself, hoping I wasn't seeing things. I blinked my eyes countlessly to be sure, and it was Ryan that was standing before me. "You don't need to be surprised. This is Ryan," he said, and I scoffed inwardly, finding it hard to believe. How could I just believe him? "Denver?" I asked, and he scoffed. I saw him last night when I lost consciousness but I thought it was my hallucinations. I was seeing Ryan instead of Denver. Is this not a dream? I pinched myself to be sure and it wasn't. This is tr
Ryan"Natalie," I called out as she fell on the floor probably from the shock. I knew she was listening to us until I heard a heavy thud. I rushed toward her with a worried look on my face. She stared at me with a weak and fainted look on her face. "Is this Ryan?" She asked in a weak tone, and I nodded my head affirmatively. "Are you okay?" I asked worriedly and carried her in my arms in a bridal style. "Please wake up," I said as her eyelids were forced close. She opened her eyes slowly and trailed her hand on my face. "Is this Ryan?" She asked again, and I nodded my head in agreement. "Yeah. This is Ryan. This is your mate. I'm back for you. Please hang in there for me," I said, and she shook her head negatively. "I'm sorry for pushing you away," she said and fell unconscious. I growled deeply and my voice echoed heavily around the pack. I glared at Damien who stared at me still dealing with the shock. "You'll pay for this. I'll be back for you," I threatened, carried her, a
