A night to the wedding

Natalie

"What do you want?"I asked the beautiful lady who's before me with a cute smile on her face.

"I want to see you,"she said calmly, and I looked at her with a confused look.

"I need your help,"she added, and I arched a brow at her.

"About what?"I asked as I stood up from the bed.

I wonder what her real intention was. She only introduces herself as the mistress of the Alpha.

I crossed my arm under my chest as I stared at her.

"Can you help me with the tips on how to handle the Alpha on the bed? I'm sure you must have use some unknown skill for him to decide to make you the Luna of the pack,"

"Since I can't become the Luna of the pack, but it's not impossible to share the Alpha with the Luna in the future, right? After all, the Alpha isn't a single minded person,"she said, with a naughty smile on her face.

I looked at her with a disgusted look on my face. I actually thought that she was here for a better thing, but I never knew that she's here for a tip on having sex with the Alpha.

I'm not only disgusted by the humiliation of Lady Suzy, but I'm worried about my fate with the Alpha. After this night, I'm going to become the Luna of the pack and there's no way to leave the pack again.

I decided to use her interest in the Luna position to my advantage. But how am I going to do that? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it. I smiled inwardly as an idea popped into my head. I just hope it works out for her.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Or do you want to keep the secret to yourself and enjoy the Alpha alone?"she asked, and I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Oh! I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, Suzy, right?"I asked, and she nodded her head with a frown on her face.

"I don't think it's necessary to give you tips that won't help you. I've something that would make you happy forever,"I paused as I tried to put my words into details so that she would be able to believe.

I've to shoot my shot right now because she's my only chance of leaving the pack, and running from the Alpha.

"So what is it?"she asked as she flaunted her hair.

"How about you become the Luna of the pack instead?"I asked, and she looked at me with a surprised look on her face.

"What do you mean? The Luna of the pack?"she bombarded me with questions. It's obvious that she's interested in the Luna position.

No one wouldn't want to be the leader of the pack, especially for one of the strongest packs, but mine is complicated so I can't possibly give in to it or accept it. So sad.

I can't be the Luna of a murderer who killed my loved ones.

"Yes I can make you the Luna of the pack. Not like I'm interested in the position anyway,"I said, and scoffed loudly.

"What? You don't want to be the Luna of the pack which everyone is wishing to become, especially me,"she said with an unbelievable look on her face.

I wasn't expecting her to believe it because it's hard to believe that someone could reject the offer of being the Luna of the Red Moon pack— the strongest and overrated pack all over the wolf region.

"Yes I don't want to become the Luna of the pack and if there's any chance I wouldn't hesitate to leave immediately,"I said, and she looked at me again.

"What do you think you're saying? You don't want to become the Luna of the pack?"she said more like a question, and I groaned out with a frustrated look on my face.

How am I going to make her believe me? I ruffled my hair, trying to bring up every single idea in my head. It's going to be harder like I'd expected.

"I'm serious. I wouldn't joke with something as serious as this. I just need your help,"I said, looking at her with a pleading look.

"Well the advice that I've for you is that the only way of attracting the Alpha is to play cat and mouse,"she said, ignoring my words like it wasn't something she should think about.

I called her back as she made to walk out of the room. I can't let this opportunity pass by.

"Please come back. These words are from the bottom of my heart. Please just try to believe me,"I said, staring at her with a sad and pleading look. She looked hesitant for a while before giving.

"Okay but how do you want me to believe you?"she asked.

I decided to explain everything to her even though I wouldn't include the part that he's the reason for the death of his sister since I'm yet to get any evidence.

"Oh! That's bad. I now know the reason why you choose not to become the Luna of the pack,"she muttered with a sigh as I explained everything to her in detail even though I neglected some parts.

"Yes, that's why I want to leave the pack. I don't want the Luna title,"I said.

"Though I've heard the story, I'm yet to believe that you want to leave the Luna position just like that,"she said, and I shook my head.

What can I say to this lady to make her believe me right now? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it.

"I would like to take my leave,"she said as she made her way toward the door.

I made a statement which made her stop midway.

"You might as well give me a chance to have a try to prove to you,"I said loudly, and she arched a brow at me.

"What kind of proof do you want to show?"she asked.

I stood transfixed to the floor, my hand stroking on my chin as I thought of the person who's the only one that could save me.

"Please can you help me contact a friend of mine who is the only person that I think could help me?"I asked, and she nodded her head gently.

Brian is the only person who can help me in this type of situation. He's my friend that I really trust. He works in the newspaper office as the editor-in-chief. We were partners because I also worked in the same workplace before I got kidnaped.

"Okay take,"she said, and stretched her phone at me. I collected it quickly before typing his number on her phone. I'm glad that I know his number in my head.

"Brian. This is Aurelia. I'm in trouble,"I said as he picked the call.

"Hello ma'am… Mr Brian isn't present in the office. He had just boarded a plane to his friend's wedding,"she said, and I hung up on the call with a sad look on my face.

I returned her phone with a sad look on my face.

"I'll take my leave,"she said, and walked away.

"What am I going to do? He's my last hope,"

"Why does fate have to be cruel to me?"

Does that mean that I'm going to get married to the Alpha, the murderer in disguise? I asked myself but I couldn't get an answer to it.

Why does my life have to be unfortunate?
