Ellie.

“That is not reason enough for you all to do this to her!” The male voice resonated through my spine. Alarmed, I opened my eyes only to find I was still in the stranger’s arms, and we were still in the garden behind the kitchen.

“She is one tiny maid and there are seven of you,” He said angrily, then he turned his head to the side.

“Take them away, and lock them up. If anyone asks, tell them Alpha Tristian commanded it,” he barked, and from the chroused “Yes Alpha,” from a few males, I knew he had involved guards.

I stared up at his jaw–as it was the only part of his face I could see clearly. It was sharp, like a certain someone I know. Alpha Tristan. I’d never heard of him before, but I knew I owed him my life. I’d been through a similar life-threatening situation, but it was the first time someone came to my aid, and something about that warmed my heart.

As the guards dragged the maids away, Alpha Tristian looked down at me, meeting my eyes.
