CHAPTER 35

Fisya spread Adnan's favorite strawberry jam on the toast she had made earlier, occasionally glancing at her husband who was still engrossed in reading the newspaper. She was still confused about how to convey this news to Adnan. She was afraid that Adnan would be angry and reluctant to go to school if she was not there. Yeah ... even though she hoped so, that way she wouldn't have to follow Regan's request to come to the company 3 times a week, it was really annoying–she thought.

"Your bread, honey," said Fisya as she placed a plate of toast with strawberry jam for her son.

"Thank you mom."

Adnan immediately ate it deliciously, while Fisya, the woman, was again busy with toast for her husband.

He walked closer to Regan, then placed the plate of toast right in front of the man. "You better say it," he whispered.

Regan, who felt disturbed, then put the newspaper on the table and then he glared at his wife. "Why didn't you just say it?"

"I'm afraid she's mad at me."
