KATE'S POV

I got up early the next morning so I'd beat traffic. I dressed and drank the coffee I made then stepped out. I achieved my aim because there was no traffic and the road was very free. I got to her house and parked my car. I greeted the gateman and made my way inside. I opened the door, and all I could hear was laughter that sounded so high-pitched. Why is she up so early and who's she laughing with? Has she decided to forgive Carter? I hurried inside to find out what was happening, but instead of Carter, it was Elena.

They saw me and waved. "Good morning sis." I hugged Elena

"How are you now?? Can you laugh this loud so early??" I looked at Avina

"How does laughing make me unable to rest?" She eyed me and then came to hug me

"What was so funny that you guys were laughing so hard?" I asked as I sat down

"She was explaining all that happened in the hospital to me. You know I wasn't present." Elena briefed me
