Summer Flowers

Hi everyone, we have just two chapters left to the end of the first part of the book. The second part will tell more about June’s story. I hope you like it.

June’s POV

“Good morning, Mom” I woke up the next morning to numerous phone calls and messages from my mom telling me to call her. It first started like a good message from a loving mother to an adorable daughter, but several hours after I didn’t call her, she retorted to threats and a promise to call the police the next morning if she didn’t hear from me. Maybe she didn’t check the note I left behind because she never did. I wasn’t even expecting her at home that early, I was thinking she’ll get back next week or on Christmas Eve.
