Cassie stared unblinkingly at Leonardo, his confession coming as a disbelief to her. She always suspected it but still, it didn't make any sense, they had only just met and for someone as beautiful and wealthy as Leonardo, didn't he have a thousand women to choose from?

"Cassie?," He called her name softly his gaze yearning and full of affection.

"I... I'm sorry I don't know what to say, I feel like we have only just met," Cassie said unable to meet his intense gaze.

Leo watched as Cassie's face shifted through a whirlwind of emotions. He'd done it. The words had tumbled out before he could stop them, a confession he'd been holding onto for far too long.

He hadn't planned for it to happen this way, not in the middle of a tense moment, but seeing her so distraught had broken down his carefully constructed walls. Now, the cat was out of the bag, and there was no going back. He had to tell her everything.
