Sierra pov.

I turned to look at the beast standing behind me. "Is this-" I tried to say, but he nodded and looked at me.

"This is all the sarvent in the castle. I wasn't the only one cursed, but also them. Right now, they are asleep. When it strikes 12, they will awaken, and when it strikes back to 6, they will all fall asleep," he explained.

As we walked out of the room, I took in the sight of the intricate tapestries on the walls, the elegant chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and the grandiose furniture scattered around. The air was heavy with the musty scent of old wood and dust. I could hear the faint creaking of the floorboards beneath my feet as we walked.

I felt pity and sadness for him. Being alone and living under a curse was not something anyone would dream of.

As I was about to apologize for all the wrongs I had done, he spoke instead. "One day left before the full moon. Do you still wish to stay?"

I looked up at him, unsure of how to reply. He wanted me to leave, as if
