Drew's POV

.

"We are all gathered to cherish our main founder, Don Ricardo Tunner-Mondragon Sr," the speaker speaks, and everyone claps.

I looked at everyone around, and I saw the same thinking they had in mind. I shook my head while looking at my father.

He holds an admirable power. Known as the ruthless dragon beast who can tame a wild lion. My father inherited his power and wealth from his generation.

We do this once a year and catch up with everyone together. Everything was provided, from sky-high luxuries to the Island of temptations—pyramids of businesses worldwide.

Name it. You have it.

We are the Mondragon blood royalty, The Mondragon Billionaire's Boys Club.

My father's speech was no longer new in all aspects. Telling us to become wise and ruthless at times. Even though I managed my businesses around, I couldn't escape from his gasp. He always plans for everything around us.

"Can't wait to get out of here," Liam snorted.

"Well, you have to wait. You can chat with the boys after," I smirked.

I bet he's excited to get out. Liam, my brother, married the woman that was supposed to be mine, but it did not happen. I was once a villain in his love story. But then I realized that in life, there are things that money can't buy.

"How's New York? Did you have a good time hiding for six months?" He asked dismissively.

"Yeah, I had a good time. I contemplate a lot. Thanks to you!" I smirked.

I had a good time in New York. I lay low for six months. I got broken, and I need to fix myself again. I met a few friends while away, and I met Arabella Manzano. She's a reminder of an infatuation for me.

"Fuck. I hate this!" Hendrix's voice resonated. He sat down beside me.

"How are you, Hendrix?"

"I'm so fucking bored." He took a sip of his whiskey without looking back at me.

Liam seems annoyed and can't wait to get out of here, while Hendrix, the dominant, profound, not-so-loving, kind of wicked, a perfectionist at times, and a prince who carries a silent burden on his shoulder, is bored. Life probably was not easy for him.

"Do you want to serve back your country then?" Liam jokingly asked Hendrix.

"No freaking way." Hendrix shook his head and dipped it halfway. He grimaced.

"Who do we have here?"

It's a voice from behind. It was Norman. I took a deep breath while looking at him.

The mighty Norman Owen Mondragon... He smirked when our eyes met.

If you think about it, the Mondragon boys are a bunch of crazy beings.

We love what we do for a living. We enjoyed a lot of things. We love to catch up and talk shit about life. We love to put jokes on every one of us.

"I've heard you lost the bet to Liam, bro." Norman tapped my shoulder, and I shook my head.

Effing, dammit.

There were no secrets when it came to our personal life. Every one of us knows what everyone is up to. Everyone knows what type of shit happens to our life.

I could only smile and nod at the same time. Then I saw Enzo approaching us.

Okay. Here's another trouble.

"Yo, how are you?"

We both shake hands and pat shoulders, and the same goes for the others.

"Look at your dad. He is such a legend. Is he?" Marco looked at my father.

We all looked in the same direction where my father stood, talking to some personalities. I nodded. I agreed with Marco. I inhaled deeply when my father finally saw me. Now, he is walking toward me but stopped again, giving instructions to his security.

The lights changed their color to brighter. I could see everyone's faces now, and most were busy yapping as they carried on their business.

"How's the main company?" Xavion's voice came out from nowhere, and now he's beside me. We're looking at my dad, who's slowly walking in my direction.

"All good, Xav. I will check the status next month. The main branch needs some monitoring." I smiled.

I was feeling worried about it because it has been a while since I have had a review of that branch. But then, I became busy, plus the New York branch made me forget about it.

"That's good. Yell out if you need a hand." Xavion pats my shoulder, and his hand displays a signal.

I smirked. I know what he meant by that. I trust him. Xavion is the only cousin of mine who works in two different fields in the world of what we have become. I trust him. He's better than most of us around.

"I'll get some drinks."

I nodded and shifted my body in the other direction. I saw Atticus. I need to talk to him later.

I bring my eyes back to where my father is. He stopped because one of his bodyguards whispered something, changing his move. I know he wants something from me. I was about to follow him, but Atticus tapped my shoulder, and I looked at him.

"Bro, yo! How's life?"

The silly smile on his face seems like he's got something that could make my day.

"Drew, Drew, Drew." He smirked.

I formally stood up, and a question behind my mind popped out.

"How's everything? Any news about Beatrice?"

I met Beatrice a few times before. I was interested in her, but it took a lot of work to catch her up. She's playing chase, which I don't like. Beatrice is Atticus' friend. She's a model from Paris.

"She's back in Paris, bro. But I believe she'll return for a project in two months."

"That's good." I nodded while thinking and drinking my wine.

"Are you interested?

I chuckled. Beatrice is an ideal girl, very well-polished, beautiful and decent. I had my eye on her for a long time, but I didn't have the chance. And so my feelings lost their touch.

"No, not really," I smiled.

"Come on, Drew. I know you." He shrugged his shoulders.

"At least I'm not like you," I smirked.

"Do you want to join us later? We're going to the main Island of Palawan."

I looked at everyone. Everyone here comes here for attendance. It's a must, and we shouldn't miss this. It's part of the tradition. And right after this, I know the boys will go somewhere and have fun around the Island.

"Sure. I've taken my yacht with me. I'm cool. Count me in, bro."

I patted his shoulder quickly because I saw my father, and he was about to get out here.

"I have to go. I need to talk to Dad. We'll catch up later!"

I walk faster, almost running, trying to catch him before he gets inside his car.

"Dad!"

He paused and then turned around in my direction. My eyes riveted to his golden cane. I stopped and stood firmly in front of him. He signals his hand to Mars, his bodyguard. Mars bowed halfway and took a step a few meters away from us.

"I know what you want, son. I'm working on it now. I'll be over to Greece in the next few weeks," he firmly said.

"Okay. . . I thought so."

"Go back to the main. Have that company check. It's outdated, son. The rest of your company is pretty neat aside from that one."

"I will, Dad. I'll be back soon to the main one. I'm done with everything, and my vacation is now over. I'm back." I confidently said.

"Okay, son. I have to go."

It was only a quick nod, and he went inside his car. I stepped back and still looked at him until his car disappeared from my vision. I then looked at my wristwatch. It's still early. I can drive back now to the main and will follow the boys tomorrow. There's a lot of fun here in the corner; tonight, I want to relax.

I followed the boys in the Mont Rock Bar on the other side. This is what we do after the reunion. There are plenty of girls around. Some are not ordinary. I had a few drinks with them, and Chrissy was there. She's one of the most famous models in the country.

"I noticed that Chrissy's been staring at you for a while. So I guess you will be her victim tonight, bro." Conrad laughed a little bit.

I look in the direction where Crissy is. She's standing, holding her glass of wine, looking seductive.

"She's not my type, bro," I shook my head and drank my whisky while staring at her.

"You know her, bro. She'll get what she wants. And tonight, she wants you." He stood up and patted me on my shoulder before leaving me.

I was about to say something, but Conrad walked away, and Chrissy was beside me.

Dammit. I swore in silence and faked my smile.

I know she wants to fuck me. Men can't resist her. She's got the charm in bed. Well, that's what they've said, and as much as possible, I don't want to get involved, but it's too late.

"F*ck."

I have never seen such a crazy obsession of hers—a boss in bed and an expert to pleasure men with their needs.

"Chrissy," I groaned.

"Yes, oh yes! Ah! Ah!"

I pushed inside her swiftly, knowing she felt such immense lust and satisfaction. After that, I didn't do a single job. She's way too crazy in bed that I couldn't even complain.

I thrust in and out. It was a rapid. I felt her body tense in this steamy sex.

"Oh, Drew. You're so good. Oh. . ."

I groaned from a release of satisfaction and slowly let go. I stood up and went inside the bathroom. I removed and threw the condom in the bin. I also had a quick shower and changed myself.

"I want to do it again with you, Drew," she lazily said, still on the bed. Naked.

"Sorry, Chrissy, but I don't do repeat ."

I didn't look at her and just went out of the room. Then my phone rang. I looked at it.

Dammit.

It's early dawn, and why is Amalia ringing me at this hour?

"Hello?"

"Sir, Drew," in her panicked voice.

"The hell, Amalia? Do you know what time it is? It doesn't matter. I'm going back to the office in three weeks. I want you to prepare every ledger and paperwork for the company, Amalia."

Amalia is my secretary at Monde Main Corporation. She's elegant and clever in her job. I like the way she works in the way that I wanted. She's the longest one I have had for many years. She has worked under me for quite a while. It's hard to find another employee like her.

"Sir, I'll be away for two months," she spoke slowly, and I paused.

"What?" My brows crossed.

What the - I want to swear, but I'm holding it.

Damn, this is not the right time for this.

"Sir, you've promised me a two-month vacation after my wedding. Uhm, my honeymoon was booked ahead, and I have notified you about it a lot of times, Sir." She pleaded in the line.

I shut my eyes, facing up the dark sky.

Effing, dammit!

This is not good timing, and I don't want to be rude to her. She's been working with me for more than five years.

I inhaled deeply, thinking, and the line went quiet. She's probably panicking by now, waiting for my answer. Worst comes to worst, I could offer money in exchange for her honeymoon.

"A-And, Sir. I already have someone that will be my reliever while I'm away. I'll teach her everything. I promise, Sir. She's very reliable."

My brow lifted, and I exhaled freely. "Okay. Have a safe holiday trip, and teach the new one well."

"Yes, Sir. I will. Thank you, Sir!"

I turn off the call and smile while looking at my phone. I'm feeling better knowing that someone will take over her work.

Of course, I have my doubts, but considering Amalia's been working full-time with me for so many years, she deserves a break.
