Carlos raised his face to look at Chelsea, he had only been focused on the solid circle. For a moment he was silent, seeing that his wife's cheeks did look a little chubby. Her two circles also seem to be getting denser, as are Chelsea's hips which are now getting bigger too. This change makes it even more clear that Chelsea is not the girl she used to be.

"Apart from being a little enlarged, I think it also feels painful." Chelsea gave a little squeeze to the circle she had just taken out. Slightly massaging and grimacing. “Especially when Daddy squeezed it. It's actually quite painful, Dad. But I'm afraid to tell Para.”

"Why weren't you told?"

"I don't want to reduce the pleasure of making love with you," Chelsea answered honestly.

"How can it be called romance if one of us is in pain."

"It's okay, Dad. Besides, I like it too. As Daddy knows, I really like this. Just try it if you don't believe it." Bringing the tip of the ball closer to Carlos' lips. "Try sucking it, I'm sure you won't feel any pain at all."

Carlos complied with Chelsea's wishes. Suck gently at one end of the circle. And it's true that Chelsea's body stiffened at the pleasure he said earlier. It was a little more painful than usual, but the pleasure that Carlos offered was able to make him forget the pain.

"I-I'm sorry..." Vano hurriedly turned around upon seeing Chelsea and Carlos in the dining room.

He had intended to have breakfast, but he was met with an inappropriate sight for the morning. Carlos quickly unbuttoned Chelsea's shirt and covered her up.

"Van, Daddy can explain," Carlos led Chelsea down from his lap, although his wife clung to him tightly, making it slightly difficult for him to stand.

"You don't need to explain, Dad. Like I said last night, Vano and I have an agreement to win your heart."

Vano's steps came to a halt as he heard Chelsea's words. He turned around and looked at her in disbelief.

"Chelsea..."

"You don't have to worry. Chelsea has already explained everything to Daddy," Carlos cut Vano off, not wanting his son to lie any further. He didn't want Vano to blame Chelsea for the drama they were playing out, as Carlos no longer wanted to dwell on that matter.

Although he was not offended by the agreement between his wife and son, Carlos's deep love for Chelsea had erased those insignificant grievances.

Carlos also tried to think rationally, considering that this was how he found his wife, as a replacement for his late wife and Vano's mother.

"So, please, have a seat, and let's talk." Carlos cleaned a chair for Vano and urged him to sit comfortably, confirming that there was no anger even though he knew everything now.

"For what happened earlier, Daddy apologizes. It was out of place."

"It's okay, Dad." Vano rubbed his neck. It was a bit embarrassing to find his own biological father holding his wife. It was undoubtedly a romantic scene, but it wasn't something meant for others to witness.

"After this, Daddy promises you won't see that again."

"Yeah, if possible, do it in your room, Dad. But if you want to enjoy a different atmosphere, wait until I leave for campus first." Vano chuckled, trying to ease the tension among them. As newlyweds, he and Chelsea couldn't restrain themselves from such activities.

"Okay, your suggestion is accepted." Carlos also tried to maintain a composed demeanor when they all talked. "Last night, your mother explained to me about the agreement between you two." He reached for Chelsea's hand and held it. He looked at his wife and son in turn.

"I don't mind the agreement you've made at all. In fact, I have some good news to share, but it comes with a few conditions and terms that you and Celine must adhere to."

This time, Carlos mentioned Celine's name, making both Chelsea and Vano startle. They didn't expect the three of them to discuss Celine at the dining table. As far as they remembered, Carlos was strongly against even mentioning that girl's name.

"Seeing your sacrifices and in accordance with our agreement back then, I will give my blessing for you and Celine to marry once I'm married. Now that I'm married to Chelsea and found happiness, it's probably time for you to find your own happiness. You're old enough to start a family, and the company is running smoothly under your management. So there's no reason for me to prevent you from getting married."

"And as for Celine, perhaps it's time to give your blessing for me to marry her. However, you both must continue to live here until Daddy is truly able to accept Celine as our daughter-in-law. At the same time, she must prove that your marriage has nothing to do with the business between Daddy and Celine's father. So, do you accept this offer or not?"

Chelsea and Vano both smiled with happiness as they saw Carlos softening his heart to give his blessing. It was something Vano had been dreaming of for over five years, and now it was becoming a reality, even though he seemed a bit reluctant with his father's decision.

Even though he and Amber had just made an agreement the previous night, he accepted Carlos's blessing with a hint of hesitation. He believed that being Celine's husband would make it easier for him to uncover the truth behind his mother's accident. He hoped that his status as Celine's husband would help him in his mission. Regardless of the outcome, Celine had never been involved in the accident. The person he loved was Celine, not her family.

With the blessing obtained and secrets unveiled, they became even closer. The breakfast was warm and full of laughter that morning. It was also the first morning Vano was asked to address Chelsea as "Mama."

Although Chelsea was younger than Vano, her status as Carlos's wife required Vano to consider her as a mother. It felt a bit awkward at first, but after addressing Chelsea as "Mama" a few times, Vano got used to it. However, they stopped using the term when Margareth was around.

"I've seen you three getting along so well, but here I am feeling left out. Can I join in the laughter and happiness I heard a moment ago?" Margareth spoke as she came out of her room and saw Carlos, Chelsea, and Vano joking in the living room.

The three of them were preparing to go to their respective destinations. Carlos was heading to the office, and Vano was going to drop off his stepmother at the campus.

"No one is stopping you from joining us to enjoy happiness. As Chelsea's mother, you certainly have the right to that," Carlos replied to Margareth's words, ensuring that nothing would disturb their happiness.

"But I feel like Chelsea doesn't like my presence here."

"I've never rejected your presence, Mom. Anywhere you want to be, I'll go with you. But if you feel that way, I won't force you to stay and be happy with me." Chelsea got up from her seat, reached for Carlos's hand, and kissed the back of his hand.

"Vano and I will leave first, Dad, Mom," she said without shaking hands with Margareth before taking her leave.

At this moment, Chelsea still needed time to accept all the bitterness from her past, including the fact that she was not Margareth and Tomas's biological child. She wanted to make peace with her situation and try to forget all the resentment that would only destroy her. Chelsea had found perfect happiness and was grateful for it, so she didn't want to seek trouble. That included ignoring Margareth's presence. However, she wasn't ready to be honest about her true status with Carlos. She was afraid that her mother would not accept it and might even become destructive. 

She preferred to leave it to her husband to find a way to end his relationship with her mother. Margareth had been involved with Carlos before Chelsea entered their lives. If only Margareth hadn't been in a relationship with Carlos, Chelsea wouldn't be his legal wife now.

"Carlos," Chelsea began.

"We'll talk later after I come back from work. There's an important meeting I need to attend. I hope you understand and won't demand more. Do you?"

Margareth wanted to stop Carlos from following Vano and Chelsea, but she refrained as her phone kept vibrating, seemingly preventing her from doing anything at home.

"Where are you, dear? Can we meet? I miss you," Kevin said when Margareth greeted him.

"Sorry, I don't have any money. So, you..."

"I don't need money. I'll give it to you for free, along with a new job."

"A job?"

"That's right. A new source of income that's even more lucrative."

"I'll come right away." Margareth ended the call, rushing to her room to change. The faster she moved, the sooner she could meet Kevin.
