2022-12-13 02:02:42This entire week has been hectic, with all the assignments and helping Nina to get over her break up.
The only thing good that came out this entire week was the email of acceptance from Saint Andrews Memorial Hospital to start my residency next week.I'm so happy I'll get to work with prestigious people like Dr. Young and the others. I can't wait to tell Derrick the news.
He is on his way to pick Nina and I up for Clara Greenwoods memorial service. We are both dressed in white top and shorts.
"Did you take your candle?"I ask Nina who busily fixing her makeup
"yes and even her book"she says and I smile.
After a couple of minutes Derrick arrives and we sat inside his car and left for central park.
As we got to the ground we could see people already gathering over there."wow.. this place is packed"says Nina and I nod in agreement.
"well sorry for you guys. I gotta join my parents. See ya"Derrick says with a smirk before we all got down from the car and he left us.
"arrhgh.. I sometimes want to just punch his ugly face"Nina mutters and I laugh
"hurry, let's find a good place to stand"I say and dragged her into the mist of people.
After surfing through the crowd we found a good support and we began chatting among ourselves, occasionally involving others.
"Hey I'm Addy, from Yale university"the girl we just begun chatting with says.
Wow she must really have loved Clara.
"I'm Sienna and she is Nina and we are from NYU" I replied
"oh great then, I just couldn't stay home and watch her memorial, she was a very dear person to me"she says with a sad tone.
"wait, you knew her?" Nina asked
"yes,my sister is the mother of Arson's daughter,Arya Cooper"she says and my jaw drops.
Well we all know Arson's has daughter with his ex girlfriend which Clara decided to adopt since she wasn't strong enough for pregnancy.
We also know about the baby in the lap waiting for a carrier, sadly Clara didn't live long enough to see her second daughter.
As we continue to chat we here the microphone glitch and everyone queit down.
We turn to see Arson on the stage holding baby Arya with Clara's mom and brother along with other close friends and relatives.
"Good evening everyone. thank you all for coming, I appreciate all your efforts to make my wife's memory and birthday a rememberable one. My wife would be so happy wherever she is seeing all of you here making her memories live long. Thank you all for coming once again"Arson's says while wiping his tears.
Clara's mom took over the microphone and read about her daughters life and things she wanted to do that she couldn't do.
After speaking for half an hour she asked us to light our kind and we did.
We raised our yellow balloons which had a picture of her smiling beautifully. I could see Arson sobbing profusely on the stage.
He couldn't handle this, I can't even imagine the pain he is going through right now, watching your other half leave the world.
The tune of her song begun to play as her brother took the microphone to begin the song.

Most the people were in tears and some of us had tears in our eyes. I spot Derrick taking Arson's off the stage and I immediately pull Nina to their direction.
After some minutes of searching for them,I finally spot them standing beside a black SUV with Arson's sobbing on Derrick's shoulders.
"Hey Dee , what is wrong?"I asked even I knew why.
"he is just going through alot" he replies
We all didn't know what to do but wait for him to calm down.
God above please help him.

Sienna's P.O.VEveryone was in a frantic because we woke late today,we got so drunk yesterday at the bachelorette party that's we over slept.Nina's mom barged in this morning yelling at us to stand up and get dressed. Nina's make up took almost a three hours because she wanted perfection. Sienna's P.O.V5 YEARS LATER.60 months is what it has been since I left the USA to come to London. Things has been nothing but great since I arrived here with my mom and sister.We stayed with Mercedes for while until we moved to one of my dad's house in London after I graduated.I graduated with honors and top of my class that year. I receive alot of gifts and appreciation from the school and my family. it was happiest day of my life and I was glad i got to share it with the rest of my family.Everyone has been great,God has been faithful to us, finally I found happiness with myself.I went to therapy after I came here,I grew my hair back because I didn't want to change to please anyone.
