"Why's Zara so shy?" I asked while Kumar took pictures of me in front of the Royal Palace of Madrid. Ariana's POV; "Twins?!" Damien looked like he was about to faint. He accompanied me for my doctor's appointment as usual and we just found out that we're expecting twins. I swallowed and blinked rapidly, trying to fight the overjoyed smile that was clawing on to my face. Someone wanted just one but his sperm had other plans. "Ariana, I only agreed to having one baby and now we're going to have two of them?! How?" He loosened a few buttons on his shirt. "I don't have twins in my family so this is definitely your fault." I shrugged, smiling at the doctor as he congratulated us. "Oh well, at least you wouldn't have to bother me for another baby in future." He shrugged. Final chapter Damien's POV; It had been way over an hour. She squeezed my palm so tightly as she pushed, screaming her lungs out while at it. I just wanted to cry but I had to be strong for her. "I'm tired, I'm so tired." She sobbed, her voice had gone hoarse from all that screaming. She had hair glued to her forehead due to sweat. It broke my heart to see her like this but she still looked so effortlessly beautiful. "Come on babe, we can do this." I encouraged her. She was panting heavily. "You're crowning, you're almost there!" The nurse yelled. She pushed again with all her might, grunting deeply until we heard the first cry of a baby. I wanted to jump and pump my fist in the air until I remembered we still had another baby to think about. Damien asked, putting down Damon who had jumped on him the moment he stepped into the house and refused to be set down until they had arrived to meet his mother in the master bedroom. (Ariana's POV) I layed tucked under the covers wide awake and wondering why on earth I could not sleep at such a time. I looked around my bedroom as the squeaky noise of the ceiling fan somewhat fascinated me. I never lacked sleep, ever. In spite of my hectic schedule, I still made out time to rest, so it was a shocker for me to be awake in the middle of the night and not be able to go back to sleep. But, in my heart of heart, I knew the reason for my sleeplessness. The events of the previous day still had me shaken and I could not help but keep mulling over it. I had just finished with my shift at the five star restaurant I worked in and I was well on my way to getting a good rest when a call came in. The caller ID had me rolling my eyes for a second. It was my father. "Hey Dad..." I muttered. "Ariana Delaney?" A female voice called out to me, startling me. "Yes?" I answered carefully. "This is Doctor Mildred,your father is in our care." Oh no! "I'll be there right away."
