I feel a huge weight on me. I open my eyes and find the morning rays entering the room through the window.
I can still feel a weight over me and when I tilt my head to find the source, I snort.
"Get over me,Lai!"I say and push the elephant on the other side of the bed. But Lai being Lai, snores completely oblivious to anything.
I sigh and spread my right arm on the corner of the bed, searching for my phone. I have a habit of checking any messages early in the morning. No it's not because I have multiple instagram followers or people to give a fuck about my life. But certain people love to destroy my mornings by giving me missed calls or text messages that are no less than atom bombs.
I get hold of my phone and unlock the screen. Fortunately, there's only one message notification. I hope it's by Eleanor or Sonia. It reminds me that I haven't called Sonia for a long time
