Chapter 22

The warehouse was quiet as she crouched down behind a pallet full of cement-mix bags. She had managed to find a way in through a rotten looking hole in the wall, that looked like it had been caused by storm damage. It hadn't quite been big enough and she had scraped a long line of skin off of her shoulder where she had caught it on a piece of protruding splintered wall panel. There was also a very strong possibility that said piece of panel had a few rusty nails sticking out of it, so a tetanus shot might be in order after this assignment was complete.
