Chapter 18- Health Unit

Joan was still standing at the door. Look at Lynd straight, and said. "Can I come closer to you?” Before moving forward, go inside Joan to ask Lynd's approval first.

For some reason Joan felt he had to be more careful and polite around Lynd at this time. Perhaps it was partly his common sense realizing they were the only two in the room.

Lynd changed her half-lying position to sit firmly on the side of the bed then gave her consent with a nod.

Every step Joan took to come closer to her made Lynd's heart beat faster for some reason. She had forgotten the pale withered face and also the head that still felt spinning.

Joan took a steady step towards Lynd. At a distance of about two meters remaining between them, he stopped the pace. As he said, he couldn't keep his eyes off from Lynd.

"You okay? How do you feel now? Have the teacher checked on you? What about the medicine, have you taken some?"He asked without pause, looking anxious.
