Scarlett's POV

His eyes were fixated on my body as I slowly unzipped my dress while holding my hand to my back.

When he put my hands down and stepped closer to me, my breath caught in my throat, so I set aside my dress and brought the one he gave me to put on.

I was lost staring at this look of his, forgetting I was half-naked in his presence as his face softened as he gazed intently into my eyes and his palm trailed over my face delicately and lovingly as he always did.

I forced a long breath into nothing as my breath grew stern as he moved his hands down to my neck and to the opened upper portion of my b00bs.

Why, oh why, is my body responding to his touch so delicately? Is it because I still adore him so much and haven't stopped loving him? But surely he detests me? But I can see that he is lustful by the look he is giving me right now.
