When he enters the class, abandoning poor Ms. Hudgens behind, all of us greet him. He greets back and goes to put his stuff on his desk. I watch his every move and so does Jeremy. We wait for Mr. Taylor to grab his chair but he just drags it under the table and stands straight, eyeing each of us.

This is his habit. He is setting a target but what is the use? His target is just me.

"You," he points out and I follow his gesture. Margaret — she is the target this time. I blink briefly and keep chewing on my gum.

"Sir?" She asks, clueless, just like us. And there behind her, Nicole is snickering. I do not think there is anything funny. Maybe she is mentally disturbed. Why does he not scold Nicole and her swine gang?

"Margaret, sir."

"Margaret, this is just morning, besides, I don't allow my students to have lunch or breakfast in my class."
