X-PART – 2 : Cannot Without You

Rena is still sobbing because the man on the bed hasn't opened his eyes since an hour ago. Stupid man who almost lost his life in a fight with Brother Ben.

"Never mind, Rena, he will never die. He has nine lives." Ben leaned against the wall. His hair was still wet from Romeo's crazy-sounding rescue.

The man who was a victim of a love enslaved person tried to convince Ben by jumping into a flowing river—proving to Ben that he doesn't mess with his words.

But stupidly, it was because the imperfect legs hindered movement and instead became cramped, making Romeo unfocused and carried away by the river current.

Yes, that's stupid Romeo, who doesn't understand his condition. Don't equate it with before, when the man was still standing firmly on his two feet.

"It's all because of you!" Rena rebuked. "You made Romeo death-defying."

"He's the only one who is stupid for loving you too much and not seeing the situation. His legs are crippled, but he can bet a lot to collect his pride."
