Rachel sat still on her chair, staring ahead, but her mind wasn’t really in the office.

She was thinking deeply. Everything that had been going on in the company was starting to weigh her down. Things were getting more serious than she thought, and she didn’t feel comfortable keeping it all to herself anymore.

After a few minutes of silence, she slowly nodded to herself. “I have to tell Dad,” she whispered because he needed to be aware of what was going on.

She knew her father had always been a strong support in her life. He was someone she could always count on, no matter what.

But then another thought came to her mind, “What if he wasn’t at the office today? She asked herself .

She didn’t want to go all the way to his building only to find out he wasn’t there.

Ever since she took over the company, his presence in the company has reduced a lot. He only comes around when he has a meeting or when he is bored.

So she decided to call him first to know if he was around or not.
