Chapter 7 — Say it again...

"Say it again!" Leon's voice sounded heavy, as if he were holding back something that wanted to explode. He approached slowly, his face only inches away from Giselle's, who was still bound.

Giselle averted her gaze, trying to steady her racing heart. But then she hissed, “My husband, release me. I beg you…”

The voice was soft, almost a whisper, but it echoed in Leon’s ears like a time bomb exploding inside his chest.

Leon’s neck tensed, and he lowered his head slightly. “Say it again. Say it again with the same tone.”

Giselle looked into Leon’s eyes. His eyes were sharp, filled with emotions Leon couldn’t decipher.

“MY HUSBAND, LET ME GO!” Giselle screamed loudly.

And like being burned, Leon lost control. With a swift movement, he grabbed Giselle’s jaw and pressed his lips against hers so greedily, so deeply, as if wanting to punish and possess the girl in one long kiss. Giselle struggled—but her body couldn’t move. She was completely bound.

“Mmhh—! Mr. Le—on... I... can’t... breathe—!” Giselle gasped between broken breaths.

Leon finally realized, his eyes widening. He immediately released the kiss. His breath was heavy, his chest rising and falling uncontrollably.

Giselle remained silent for a few seconds, staring at the man in front of her with a flushed face. Not out of shame, but out of emotion. “Crazy!! You—you kissed me like—like—”

Leon looked at his own hands, then touched his lips, then Giselle again.

“What did I just do?!” Leon thought to himself.

Without saying a word, Leon stood up and walked quickly toward the door.

Giselle shouted from behind, “HEY DON’T GO! LET ME GO FIRST, YOU DEVIL!! YOU PERVERT!”

Leon didn’t respond. He simply left, closing the door behind him and leaving Giselle tied up alone in the room.

In the car, Leon sat in silence. His hands gripped the steering wheel tightly.

“Damn it!” Leon muttered softly. “What the hell was that?! Why did I…? Why did I kiss Giselle?! That annoying, materialistic girl?!”

Leon ran his hands through his hair in frustration.

“Why… did I lose control just because of her little scream? Because she called me her husband?”

That voice, Giselle’s face, kept spinning in his head. The girl was too attractive. Too talkative. Too full of herself. But why…

Why did it feel so tempting just now?

Suddenly, Leon pulled out his phone and pressed the speed dial.

“Jo.”

“Yes, Mr. Leon?”

“Go to the basement right now. Untie Giselle.”

“Huh? What do you mean, Mr. Leon—”

“NOW!”

Click. The call ended.

Meanwhile, in the basement.

Giselle was still sitting on the iron chair, her hands and feet bound. She was still trying to steady her breath, suppressing her anger, shame, and her unstable heartbeat.

“You’re crazy. Leon’s crazy. That damn man. I kissed him, he kissed me back. But more wildly! Huh! How dare he leave me here after satisfying himself by kissing me!”

Giselle kicked the air, the chair swaying slightly. “Just wait, Leon. Once I’m free, I’ll cut your lips off!”

Soon after, the door opened. Jo entered with an awkward expression.

“Um. Mrs. Giselle... Mr. Leon told me to... release you.”

“Too late!” Giselle snapped sharply. “Where’s Leon? Where’s that DEVIL? Tell him to come here if he has the guts!”

Jo scratched the back of his neck. “Um... I think Mr. Leon is... calming down.”

“CALMING DOWN AFTER KISSING ME?! YOU’RE CRAZY!”

Jo quickly untied Giselle’s hands and feet.

As soon as she was free, Giselle stood up quickly. “Take me to campus. Now!”

“Alright, Mrs. Giselle.”

As she walked out of the room, Giselle hugged herself. Her lips still felt hot. The remnants of the kiss were still clearly lingering. Her body was still trembling, not out of fear but out of confusion. Why wasn’t her heartbeat back to normal?

“Leon De Santos... you’ll regret this. I swear I’ll punish you!” she whispered to herself. “For the bonus promised by Aunt Hansel, I had to...”

The sun was beginning to set in the west. The sky turned orange, and the evening breeze blew through the large windows of the De Santos family mansion.Giselle had not left her room all day. She lay curled up under the blankets, hugging her pillow, occasionally moaning softly as she massaged her waist. Downstairs, Leon had just returned from work. His suit still clung to his body, his tie half-loose, his face tired and stiff. As soon as he stepped into the living room, he was greeted by his mother’s voice from the dining room. “Leon, dear. Come here for a moment,” called Mrs. Hansel. Leon walked over with heavy breathing. “What is it now, Mom?” Mrs. Hansel handed him a tray with a plate of rice, soup, and a glass of water. “Take this to your wife’s room. She hasn’t eaten all day.” Leon furrowed his brow. “Mom, I just got home from work. I’m tired. Can’t you just send the maid?” “Leon…” His mother’s tone turned cold. “If you keep being stubborn, Mommy will take all her stom

It was ten minutes past 7 a.m. at the De Santos family mansion.Leon sat with a sour expression at the end of the table. He no longer had a fever. "Mom," he said suddenly, putting down his spoon loudly, "can I ask you something?"Mrs. Hansel, sitting elegantly across from him, glanced briefly while stirring her tea. “Go ahead, Leon. What do you want to ask?”“Why did Mommy pay that girl such a high price?” Leon waved his hands wildly. “Three billion a month? And there’s an additional bonus if she completes the contract for a year!”Mrs. Hansel sighed. “Leon, Mommy has no other choice. This is for your future.”“What future? She’s just a little girl. She’s still young. She’s a college student. It’s not appropriate for her to have a child for me!” Leon glared at his mother.“It doesn’t matter! Giselle’s job is just to make you fall in love. Once you’re in love, you can find another woman who’s not much older than you and willing to accept your child.”Leon snorted angrily, slamming the

"So..." Leon took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on Giselle, who was only a few inches away from his face."...it will never happen!"Leon pushed Giselle's body hard. The girl fell to the floor with a thud, her waist hitting the side of the small table hard.“Ouch!” Giselle winced, holding her sore waist. “Damn you!”Leon didn’t care. He turned away, leaning against the pillow, breathing heavily. “I warned you not to disturb me,” he whispered softly, his voice hoarse yet sharp, “Don’t ever think you’ll succeed in controlling me! You’ll never succeed in this marriage contract, little girl! You won’t get the bonus my mother promised you. Do you understand? Just because you’ve seen it and touched it doesn’t mean you can have it or enjoy it!”“I won’t give up, Mr. Leon,” Giselle replied, sitting on the floor. “To get the bonus from Mrs. Hansel, I’ll do anything to make a cruel man like you fall in love with me!”“You’re too

Nine o'clock at night.Giselle stood again in front of Leon's door, this time not with a mischievous smile, but with furrowed brows and a worried expression. She knocked softly."Mr. Leon? May I come in?"There was no answer.Giselle opened the door slowly. The girl was stunned—Leon was lying on the floor, still half-naked, wrapped only in a makeshift blanket. His face was pale, his hair damp with sweat, and his eyes tightly closed.“Mr. Leon? Hey, wake up!” Giselle immediately approached and knelt down. Her hand touched Leon’s forehead. “You’re burning up. Do you have a fever?!” Leon opened his eyes slightly, staring at Giselle in a half-conscious state. “Are you satisfied? Now look at the results of your work.”“Oh my God...” Giselle sighed in panic. She stood up quickly, grabbing Leon’s pajamas from his closet. “Wait, I’ll unlock the handcuffs first.” Giselle hurriedly took the key from her pocket and unl

Giselle stood in front of Leon's door. She stared at the doorknob while biting her lip, then grinned mischievously. "I don't think that punishment was enough." Without thinking twice, she opened the door again. Leon was still sitting on the floor, his body half-leaning against the bed, his hands cuffed in front of him. He looked up when he heard the door open. “Giselle?! What are you doing now?!” “Continuing the punishment. I’m not satisfied yet,” Giselle replied casually as she walked slowly toward him. “GISELLE! I’m serious! Don’t mess around!” Leon stepped back, but his body had already touched the bed. Giselle pushed Leon’s shoulder quickly without hesitation. “WOY!” Leon was startled, his body falling flat on the floor, his hands automatically raised due to the handcuffs. “GISELLE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Giselle knelt beside Leon, her eyes fixed on his bare body. “I just wanted to...” “DON’T COME CLOSE!” Leon tried to lift his knees, but Giselle had already sat beside

Finally, Giselle could breathe a sigh of relief. She sat on a bench in the campus garden, wearing her lab coat after her first practice session with her friends. "Finally, I can participate in the anatomy practice. Huh, even though my hands still hurt from being tied up in the basement," she muttered sarcastically as she let out a long sigh. Despite the drama earlier that morning, her mind was now a little more at ease. Giselle decided to go home. She was picked up by the driver. Soon, the car entered the grand grounds of the De Santos Mansion, and the girl’s heart began to race again. As she stepped out, she was greeted by one of the servants. “Good afternoon, Miss Giselle. Oh, I mean, Mrs. Giselle.” “Is Mr. Leon here?” Giselle asked directly. Mrs. Hansel, who had just come out of the dining room, greeted her with a sweet smile. “Leon, huh? Oh, he’s in his room. He’s been home from work for an hour now,” Mrs. Hansel teased Giselle with a wink. Giselle smiled slightly, half
