Betrayed Luna's Second Chance Alpha

“And you’re my husband. Mind your actions.” I retorted, my voice trailing off. “You are not supposed to share a room with another woman!” Lucian sighed in frustration, briefly turning his gaze to Astra, who had changed into a sexy nighty. “Excuse me,” he said, his tone contrasting to the one he used with me. “Yeah, but please make it fast, I’m dead tired.” She said in a baby tone. “Yeah, just a second.” Lucian stepped out and closed the door behind him. “You fucked her isn’t it? She is not just a surrogate, but your mistress, right?” I questioned, my heart pained. “No!! That’s not true!” He said, his tone calmer now. “I understand your anger and your insecurities.” “But believe me there is nothing like you think. I’m not breaking any vow. Everything I’m doing is for the sake of our child.”“If that’s true, let’s go to our room. Let’s make your birthday special.” I held his hand and made him walk away, but he stopped before getting rid of my grip. “I can’t, Selene. I need to b

“Lucian, I’m not lying. I have the test results in my hand.” Before I could explain further, the line went dead. With my mind lingering over Lucian’s words, I walked out to find the car guy approaching me. “Hey, is everything okay? He asked with concern. I couldn’t answer him as my eyes fell on Lucian, exiting from the nearby room with Astra. “Lucian! Lucian!” I called him out desperately. He paused, glancing over his shoulder with an arched brow. “How the hell are you here? You were locked,” he asked in a curt tone. “Lucian, I wasn’t well.” I replied with excitement.“That’s why I’m here and got to know that I’m pregnant. Look at the results, Lucian.”I extended the test results to him, but he hurled it to the ground right away.“I don’t want to see any results, Selene. I know you are lying.” He scoffed. “Lucian, please,” I pleaded, my voice cracking. I picked up the paper and held it out to him again. “Just look at it once, and you will know. “Stop your fucking games, Sel

Theo stayed with me the entire night. His presence and warm words subsided the storm within me. But as Lucian walked in the morning again, the hurt and anger I had suppressed reignited. “What the hell are you doing here?” I asked tersely. “I told you not to show me your face again.”“Selene, I’m sorry. I truly am,” He apologized. He stepped closer and sat on the chair beside me. “It was an accident, darling. Please forgive me.”He tried to take my hand into his, but I pulled it back. “Do not dare touch me again.” I glowered at him. “I admit I was wrong. I should have believed you.”“But you didn’t, Lucian. You trusted that surrogate over me.” I snapped. “And to be honest, all your apologies and remorse feel hollow. It’s nothing but your guilt of losing your heir. Not an affection towards me.”“No, Selene, that’s not true. I’m genuinely sorry for hurting you and our child.” He said in a remorseful tone.“Please forgive me this one time. Let’s start fresh.” “See what I brought fo

“What?! Double the amount?!”“Who is that person? Did you do any background check?” I asked with curiosity and hesitation. “No, we can’t.” He replied. “He prefers to remain anonymous until he meets you in person.”“Oh, he wants to meet me? Fine,” I said with hope rising within me.” “Then set up the meeting ASAP. I guess we don’t have an option. This is the only way we can save the company from falling to Lucian’s hands.”“Yes, Mrs. Selene. I too think this is a good deal.” He assured me. The following day, I dressed simply but professionally, determined to face this new chapter with strength.I drove to the office where Mr. Steven had arranged the meeting. But as I stood in front of the door, my heart raced. Am I making the right decision? Am I rushing? What if this person turned out to be a bigger thug than Lucian? No, no, negative thoughts now. I shook my head, snapping myself from all negativity, and knocked on the door. “Come in.” A husky voice cracked through the door. I to

The following day, while we were all there, Lucian received a call from the lab. “Oh, the test results are here,” Lucian said with restlessness. He rushed out to grab the result while Astra leaned on the pillow, closing her eyes, tension evident on her face. “I was right. I was damn right-The child is not mine.” Lucian suddenly came shouting and transfered the test result into my hand. While I confirmed the results with my eyes, he walked straight to Astra and slapped her tight. “You fooled me, you whore.” He bellowed. “I gave you everything, and you repay me with lies? With someone’s child?!” Astra’s body went cold, and tears streaked her exhausted face. “There must be some mistake, Lucian. I’m not lying.” She collapsed to her knees and held Lucian’s legs, sobbing uncontrollably. “This is your child, Lucian, please trust me.” “There is no mistake, you bitch.” Lucian barked. “All was your game plan from the start. To trap me, to give my name to the child from y
