Sofia’s pov

It’s been a week since I returned home, and dare I say that I had fallen for Luca even more. A part of mind didn’t hesitate to point out that I shouldn’t allow myself to keep falling for him, but I make sure to shove that voice out of my head each time it decides to show up.

Things didn’t drastically change from how it used to be between the two of us. It only got better, when I didn’t even think it could get better.

Luca has been at home with me most of the time, choosing to keep skipping work, although he keeps visiting the mafia whenever his presence was greatly needed.

Luca never missed any opportunity to remind me that he cared for me so much. He apologized so much till I asked him not to bother apologizing at a point.
