After playing the piano throughout the night, he stood up and walked to the balcony for a smoke, this was a habit he has slowly gotten used to.

Sometimes when he has the urge to smoke, he always has this feeling that she's standing in front of him with her hands folded across her chest, glaring at him as if daring him to try smoking in her house.

Surprisingly, most of the times he find himself trashing several packs of cigarettes while smiling at the place he saw her image, with the word

" alright, you won " written all over his face.

But tonight what he felt was different, standing at the balcony, he could see the view from the gate down to the maple tree.
