Chapter Nineteen

Training:

Soft cries across the hall and crept under his doorway. Logan sat up in bed trying to figure out what he was hearing. Was someone hurt? He got up quickly not bothering to throw a shirt on and opened his bedroom door. He heard the soft muffled cries again. It registered that they were coming from Nora’s room. He crossed the hall and knocked on the door. He waited a few seconds and when no answer came he debated opening the door. Then a sound like someone was in trouble came out from under the door. He opened the door.

“Nora?” He called into the dark.

She didn't answer and he ventured into her room. She was tossing and turning in her bed. Tears leaking out of her eyes. She was acting like she was in pain. Logan walked over and shook her lightly.
