“Your mum is looking for you Matteo” Ava says.

“Okay” he squeeze my hand a little and leaves and I release a breath I didn't know I was holding.

“Care to explain?” I hear anger in her voice.

“Ava,” I sigh, “we were just talking” I pick up my drink and finish it in one gulp trying to rejuvenate my dry throat.
