Se connecter“Guess who’s gonna be sister-in-laws?” says Chloe, leaning across the aisle after she finally saunters into Civics class - late as usual.
I shrug. “You?”
Chloesnorts. “Close enough. You and me, dummy. I saw a text on Kiara’s phone from your dad this morning, asking if she wanted to go out this week.”
“No way!” I say, louder than intended.
“Annabelle and Chloe, pay attention!” The teacher snaps at us.
“Sorry, sir,” we apologize in unison, straightening in our seats and face forward, but I can’t focus on class. My mind is racing.
Josh and Kiara?
The thing is, I always sort of thought they’d make a good couple. Except that now that it is a possibility, I don’t like the idea anymore.
I don’t want my Big Daddy dating anyone.
It’s not really fair, I guess. I will have to get used to the idea at some point. But I don’t like it.
I’ve come to think of him as mine, somehow. Not that we are… I mean, he is my dad… stepdad though, but I have gotten used to it just being the two of us. What will happen to our movie nights, or our camping trips, if there is someone else in the picture? Could we still snuggle if Josh has a girlfriend? Would it seem weird? And where does Mom stand in all of this? Are they going to get a divorce?
By the time I get home from school, I’m feeling moody and upset. I’ve been stewing on the Josh and Kiara thing all day - like, a lot. I know it doesn’t make any sense to feel this way, but I feel like a girlfriend will take Josh away from me, and I have to admit that upsets me.
Chloe, on the other hand, is thrilled. At lunchtime, she tells some of the other girls and gushes, “For real, though. Imagine if Anna and I were actually family? Like sisters? How amazing would that be?”
Before I can stop myself, I snap at her in front of everyone, “Would you really like that, though? I thought you wanted to fuck my hot stepfather?” and she looks at me with wide eyes, utterly stunned. Everyone is silent for a minute until, thank God, Amanda starts to snicker, and then they all laugh. Chloe just keeps looking at me, though, and soon I excuse myself and leave.
The only thing that is balancing out my mood is the hits on my OnlyFans footage from the night before. I’ve made $800 so far and I have 17 new subscribers. All of that will go into my savings for getting my own place at college as Mom will never let me stay off campus. And suddenly, if Josh is going to be dating someone new, moving out seemed more urgent than ever.
I’m looking at my OnlyFans page when I walk into the house, and I shut it quickly when I realize Josh is standing in the hall. Our eyes lock, his lips pursed.
He looks mad.
“Good thing you’re back, young lady. Can you come into the kitchen, please?” he asks in a clipped tone. “We need to talk.”
I can’t imagine what it was now. Is he about to tell me about the divorce? Fuck – that would mean me going over to Miami to be with mom. Permanently. Because, if they’re separating, Josh is no longer my guardian.
With these thoughts racing through my mind, I follow him into the kitchen, dropping my bag by the kitchen island as usual - a habit he hates. He says nothing this time. I take a seat across from him at the kitchen table.
He clears his throat. His jaw is set, one angry muscle twitching as he prepares to speak.
“I made a very upsetting discovery last night.”
I don’t like where this is going. He looks really Pissed, and I’ve never seen him like this before.
This is not about a divorce.
I start to wonder if this is going to be a really big deal. Did mom cheat and found out? Or did something serious happen to her?
But his next words make my heart stop.
“I saw a light on in the garage last night, and when I went over there to turn it off, I saw something really disturbing, Annabelle.”
I feel my face go white.
No.
Oh my God.
I start praying, please don’t let my stepfather have seen me filming a sexy video.
9 months later…“I gotta say, Chase. Amy and I never thought we’d see you again.”Chuck, September’s dad, smiles at me from across the table. It’s Sunday and we’re having our customary cookout in their back yard. Tonight, September and I made brisket.“That’s right,” Amy, her mom, says as she and September come over from the smoker and set the meal down on the table. It looks phenomenal, and my mouth is watering almost as much as it does when I see my wife.Yup. My wife.I proposed as soon as I was in good enough shape to get down on one knee again, which was a good thing too, because as it turned out, September was pregnant. It would be impossible to tell which one of our “sessions” had done the trick, as we were all over each other for that first month (and still are, basically), but I like to think it was that first time—the time that made up for the time we missed out on almost six years ago.She was already curvy, but now with the extra baby bump, her body has me tripping all ove
I wake up to sun in my eyes and look up at the unfamiliar ceiling and smile. I roll over, expecting to find my love beside me, but find myself staring at an empty space on the bed where he should be.Don’t panic, I tell myself as I sit up and look around the room. I realize I’m naked, which I don’t like to be when I’m worried, so I find my pants and slide into them, then wriggle into my t-shirt.I get up and make my way into the living room. “Chase? Chase, are you here?”No answer.I peek into the kitchen nook, praying that I see him standing there shirtless, cooking eggs or something sexy. But he’s not there. I check the back porch, the bathroom, and even peek my head upstairs into the creepy, dusty attic, but he’s not there either. He’s not here at all. I can just feel it; I’m alone.Again.“Chase!?” I call out as I head for the door. But before I pull it open, I see something out front, through the window: a motorcycle, and it’s not Chase’s.I take a step back from the door just as
I’m still reeling from the first orgasm I’ve been given by anyone other than myself, when Chase sweeps me into his big, strong arms and carries me back into the house. I can feel the taut, warm muscles ready to tear out of his shirt as he brings me into the bedroom. I’ve gained a bit of weight since the last time he saw me, but he carries me like I weigh nothing, which makes sense as he has to be twice my size.“You do have a bed!” I smile as he lays me down on it. I feel a pang of regret that I’m not wearing my special lingerie that I bought specifically for him, but when I see the way he’s looking at me, I realize that he doesn’t care.“I’m pretty fancy,” he smiles as he tosses his jacket and peels off his t-shirt to reveal an absolutely insane body.He was ripped before, but he’s gotten bigger. Now he looks like he could rip the whole house from its foundations if he wanted. My eyes trace the lines of his biceps, the veins and the cuts, to his broad shoulders and thick chest.Wowze
After five years apart, it almost seems impossible that September is walking through the door to my house. I close and lock the door behind her and go light-headed when her scent hits my nose again. Memories of our time together hit me like a gut punch. It feels like we’ve been apart for an eternity, and I know that life has certainly changed us both. But the moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she was the same girl I fell in love with. No question.I lost her once. I won’t lose her again.“Nice place,” she says sarcastically. It’s a dump; I know that. But I didn’t have much time to find somewhere close by that would also be secure. Things are hot now with the Burning Iron, and coming back to town was a risk, but if there was any time to reunite with September, it was now.“Yeah, I overpaid,” I smile. “But the real estate agent assured me the resell value will be huge in a few years.”“Another five, maybe?” she asks. “When you decide to leave again?”I watch her as she moves across the
A thousand emotions are storming inside of me as Chase brushes off the dusty lawn chair for me and sits down opposite me. I sit slowly, trying to focus on the cool breeze to keep my heart rate under control. The only thing more intense than seeing Chase again after all this time, is knowing how close I am to leaping into his arms and letting him have his way with me.Somehow he looks better than ever, like the years have made him even more of a man than he once was. When he left, he was twenty-five and already so much better than the guys my age, but now it’s like his jaw is somehow stronger, his cheek bones more defined, and he is definitely more built. I don’t know what he’s been doing up there in Alaska, but his muscles are practically screaming. He’s wearing ripped jeans, a tattered black t-shirt covered with holes, and a canvas jacket that looks like it’s about to burst around his biceps. His hair is longer than it was, almost mangy, like he just wandered off a mountain or out of
I keep the bike moving fast as I speed away from the restaurant where I left Joe and his grabby hands lying on the sidewalk. I should have kicked his teeth in for what he did to September. Her arms around me ignite all those feelings I thought I’d managed to suppress for the last five years, as I take a complex series of turns to make sure we’re not being followed. It’s not likely, but I can’t be too safe. Not now…not with September.I keep going until we’re way out of town, then pull off onto a dirt road. About a quarter mile up, I park the bike, get off and pull open the gate that I’ve covered with foliage to hide its existence. September looks stunned as I get back on the bike and pull is through. But when we reach the house and I shut the bike off, she looks like she’s ready to rip my head off.“What the fuck, Chase?” she yells. “What the fuck are you doing?”“Is that any way to thank me?” I reply.“Thank you!?” she scoffs, throwing her hands in the air. “Thank you for what? Leavi

Josh was gone when I woke up.As I expected.I know he's normally at the office at exactly seven in the morning. In fact, I rarely see him most mornings whenever I woke up. If he wasn't working, he was usually out locked up in his room watching crime documentaries on his phone while I get ready for
It's one in the morning.I can't sleep. My head is pounding. Everything was just so fucked up.I don't understand a thing. Only a couple of days ago, Anna has been my little girl - my sweet little daughter. And now?Now I can't get her parting words out of my head: "I'm going to go to my room and j
I think my heart actually stops.“I don’t need to tell you what I saw,” Josh continues, “but as you can imagine, I was pretty fucking upset.”The room is spinning. Holy shit. My stepfather had actually seen me lying naked on his motorcycle, pretending to masturbate for a bunch of strangers who paid
