I stood still, frozen as Dean and I stared at each other.

But his eyes were not exactly focused and when they snapped shut again, I knew he was still high on whatever drugs he and Norio had abused last night.

I gripped the knife, my body still trembling, and walked back around to my side of the bed.

What had I almost done? Out of rage, I would have ruined the whole plan and put myself in even bigger trouble with Louise.

First, I have to get Dean started immediately on the Elixir, and then find a way to befriend Leonardo somehow. If he knew about the Rosetta he must be one of the few people chosen annually to go there and retrieve information.

But right now, the most urgent matter was correcting what Dean had just seen.

Although he was still high, I knew he would remember what he saw when he climbed down from that high. I had to distort his memory before that.

So I walked around again, staring at his body splayed carelessly along the bed. The man slept like an animal too. A disgust

  • Biker-in-law's Death Kiss   The Rose of Dawn

COLTIt was morning when a cop finally led me out of the interrogation room to be booked for my first appearance and possible detention before trial.Olivia was the first visitor, but there was something different in her eyes. “You lied to me.” Her eyes flashed through the cell bars.I stared at her, feeling the oddest of emotions, relief. She knew. She knew, and now I didn’t have to carry this huge burden of guilt around anymore. We stared at each other, and then she started crying again.“Do you realize you just ruined everything for us?” Her hand tightened around the jail bar. “Colt, why!” She yelled angrily, “You could have just told me.”I stared at her, no longer certain why I did any of it anymore. Male ego? The masculine pride I had lost to those men in that sauna, which I was still trying so hard to restore, by making myself non-dismissible and competent. Or did I genuinely do this because I deeply cared about her and didn’t want her to get hurt. She wiped her eyes now. “

OLIVIAI could hear my own voice echoing back to me from the valley below, but I could not feel my voice, or my face. I fell back to the rock, my legs unable to hold me up anymore, but I felt nothing even though when I looked down, my forearms were bruised and bleeding. The last inch of the sun stood where Tara had been standing just a second ago.“Baby, baby.” I heard the baritone as large hands grabbed me, and I shrieked again, before my eyes fixed on those hazel eyes. “I did not push her, I did not push her.” I gasped. “I know, I know Sonsy,” Colt said, trying to hug me. “I saw everything.” But I pushed him away, hurrying to my feet. He did not understand. This crazy woman lured me to the top of this cliff at gunpoint as soon as I arrived at this park and realized it wasn’t Colt who had invited me here to watch the sunset together. At the point where I realized I had just fallen for the same trick he did weeks ago. Tara lured me here with a believable voice message. And the c

“Is Olivia still at the office?” I asked Chris, unable to stop smiling as the jewelry store stood behind us, a rare pink diamond ring in my pocket. I couldn’t wait to see her eyes light up when I went down on one knee.Would she shriek like she did when I got her the car? Or would she be stunned like when she first saw Morvian?“Yes sir.” Chris responded.I nodded and got into the back seat. “Let’s head home first,” I said to the chauffeur in front. I needed to get my bike, and tell Morvian that I was about to ask for his sister’s hand in marriage. At home, I found him walking in the garden with the housekeeper, my jaw tightened, and my throat burned with emotion. I have never seen him walk around like this. He was always sitting or sleeping, too exhausted to have a normal life. Now he was going to live, he was going to grow up to be strong and healthy.Seeing him on his feet out in daylight like this, I realized he was going to be as tall and big as Dean and I. I jerked my head

Only it wasn’t. The day took a left turn as soon as we stepped in the boardroom, and the innovation summit was announced with champagne and camera flashes from a pair of our media team.It grated my nerves to watch that bastard have his hand around Olivia for a photograph, smiling like a goddamn raccoon.I balled my fist under the table as he named Olivia, The incomparable Olivia Auclair in his little speech, modestly hinting to everyone that they both got selected because of her merits. Olivia’s eyes found me then, and her face was blank, but an eye moved in a wink that only I would notice, and I relaxed on my seat again, my breaths coming in more easily. We had barely left the boardroom when the just published article blew up, and all sorts of disgusting narratives began to form.“Novio?” Olivia peeked into my office, and I stood up, hurrying towards her. She smiled, running up like a little girl. “You know you aren’t allowed to die before me, right?” She said, clutching my sho

  • Biker-in-law's Death Kiss   I accepted it

COLTOlivia was a delight.Moving between her legs for the rest of the day, seeing the love she felt for me in those dark violet eyes, seeing how much she liked my touch, my kisses, as her body trembled beneath mine, and she called out my name.I turned to where she slept peacefully on the bed. She slept like a literal angel, every single muscle in her face relaxed when they were usually schooled during the day. When she slept, there was no doubt she really was that sweet, scared, highschooler.I pressed my lips to her forehead, and she mumbled in her sleep. Then I rolled out of bed, massaging my forehead at the bloody headache from all the sorrow and anxiety I carried around these days.Pushing the glass screen back, I stepped out onto the balcony and stared out into the darkness that were the trees surrounding the Courtside mansion. Usually, I had ideas to solve problems, any problems at all. That was why I had become the unofficial mastermind between me and my brothers. Unlike w

“Fuck Sonsy, Fuck.” Colt cursed as I moved up and down his shaft, feeling his cock piercing deep down in the sweet spot of my cervix as the lake whispered behind me from the cold air brushing across its surface.“Ughh.” I threw my head back when he reached up to grab my tits and squeeze. He moved his hips, thrusting into me from below, the sweat on his naked chest making his inked skin shine like magic runes.I leaned back then and started to grind down on him, my fingers scratching his abs, moaning at his girth inside me, how he deliciously pressed against the roof of my pussy in this angle, how hot and big he was pulsing inside my wall. “Jesus, Olivia.” He swore now, his brows shiny with perspiration.I leaned down till my chest was flat above his, and took his lips. His kiss was fierce, possessive, as his right hand moved from my breast to grab my hair roughly from behind, his lips pushing mine apart, his tongue arrogantly demanding entrance, his teeth punishing when I was too sl
