Adriana POV

I appreciate independent women, but there is a limit," Raptor remarked.

I blushed but was curious too so I inquired, "What exactly do you mean by 'to a point'?"

He clarified, "I admire a woman who can take care of herself when necessary, yet is open to being cared for by a man if he desires to do so."

I found his perspective intriguing, but only to a certain extent. "So, you're not as chauvinistic as Tank?" I inquired.

"We share some views with Tank, but not all. We don't usually have deep conversations about such matters," he explained.

I couldn't help but smile. "Yes, I can imagine."

Changing the topic, he asked, "So, where are you ladies heading tonight?"

"We're going clubbing," I replied.

"Is it just the two of you?" he asked.

"No, there are more of us," I replied.

"Are they girls or guys?" he inquired.

"It's just us girls. We all grew up together, attended the same high school," I explained.

Curious, he asked, "What about protection?"
