Melody’s POV
I was aghast with myself; trying desperately to get my wolf back under control, but the animal side of me was not having it. It kept on licking and sniffing Teddy making him laugh. “Calm down, beautiful girl. I think your human side is angry with you.” His voice seemed to have some effect on my beast, soothing it. I was soon able to reel her in and take over, but when I did, I realized all of my clothing was shredded behind me. Ah dammit! Now what am I going to do? I couldn’t shift back naked in the middle of the city! I rooted around the pile of rags, looking for something wearable, but to no avail. “Can I help you, Melody?” Teddy reached toward me. I growled at his outstretched hand, making him hesitate. “I would never hurt you, beautiful.” I huffed in exasperation, hopefully he wouldn’t take advantage of me in this state. Rooting around again, I found my purse and nudged it to him. He got the message and picked it up. Looking around in it, he brought out my wallet with a question on his face. I shook my head to indicate to open it. Teddy opened the wallet and my ID was at the front. “Melody H. Swanson; 3021 W Street.” He looked down to me. “I’m guessing this is where you live?” I gave a yip in confirmation. I nudged the purse again for him. He reached in and pulled out my glasses and held them up with a question. I shook my snout no and nudged the purse again. Rooting around, he eventually brought out my keys. I yipped again and nudged his leg. Teddy began to stand up, but then a voice called over from the sidewalk ***** Teddy’s POV “Can we pet your dog?” The voice shouted from the sidewalk. My dog? I thought to myself as I looked around. There on the sidewalk, about thirty feet away, stood two small children and their mother. I looked to Melody, confused and unsure what to do about the situation. Most werewolves thought it was an affront to the Goddess to be treated like a dog. Melody let out a huff and sat down, looking at the children and wagging her tail like a dog. I guess we are playing along then, I shrugged. “Sure, you’re more than welcome to.” I gestured for them to come over and the children walked up quickly. They began to make over Melody, petting her fur and cooing over her. “Such a good girl!” They cooed. “Yes, she is.” I smiled to myself. I bet she could be my good girl, my thoughts turned to all of the things my good girl could do for me. I didn’t miss the fact that I could smell that she was my mate now. Alpha Scott must have completed the separation, which made me giddy. I had suspected on Friday, but her still intact bond did not let me really detect her. Melody continued to sit still, letting the children go to town on mussing up her fur. “She is such a well behaved dog, what bread is she?” The mother stood by the children, keeping an eye on them. “Uhh, a Belgian Tervuren. She was the pick of the litter too.” At that Melody, turned slightly toward him and huffed. I could tell she had rolled her eyes at that last part. “It doesn’t seem like she’s a good girl with toys though.” One of the little ones pointed to the pile of shreds a few feet away from me. “Yah, she can get really feisty sometimes.” I was enjoying the play on words, knowing that Melody could do nothing about it right now. But I quickly spotted a problem. If the mother happened to look at the pile of shreds, she would see a bright pink lace- just poking out of the pile. I stood up and stretched, then casually walked towards the pile. “Let me just clean these up really quickly. She is hard on toys, and littering is bad.” I bent over and began picking up the fabric. Very nice I grinned to myself as I found the pink lace under the pile. It was shredded, but the Lacey pink underwear and bra were unmistakable. Making sure that Melody was still distracting the people, I pocketed the underwear and wrapped the bra in the middle of the rags. “What’s the doggie’s name?” The smallest asked me when I turned back around. “Ah, Rufus.” I said on the spot. Melody huffed in indignation. “But that’s a boy dogs name.” The older one chimed. “Yah, I’ve never been one for imagination.” The children pet Melody for a few more minutes before their mother told them it was time to go. They waved bye and took off. Melody began nudging me down the street to the pack parking lot, when we got there I took the keys and unlocked the door. As soon as I had it open, Melody jumped in the front seat, moved to the middle, then crawled over the back seats to the trunk. She barked at me until I sat in the drivers seat and pulled the door closed. I could see her duck down in the back and start to shift back, putting her pile of shredded clothing on the floor next to me as she did. “Turn your head forward, and for the love of Goddess, keep your eyes closed.” I heard from the trunk of the suv. I complied and turned my head around. “Are they closed?” “Yes, they are.” I was curious what she was doing, so I peaked an eye open and looked in the rear view mirror. I caught sight of alabaster skin, and the side of one very supple breast before I saw her head turn towards the front of the vehicle. I quickly shut my eye closed again, not wanting her to see me peaking in the mirror. I tried adjusting myself in the seat, my member had become as hard as a rock with just that simple glance. I could almost imagine having her under me and those breasts bouncing as I would pound into her. “Alright, since we can talk for a second, I’m going to shift back to wolf form as soon as we are done. I need you to drive to my address and open the door for me when we get there. I don’t know you, and you don’t know me. The only thing I know is that you are in a biker gang that is in town and you are a werewolf like me. I am putting a lot of trust in you that I don’t really want to, so I will be watching you like a hawk until we get there.” With that, Melody quickly shifted back into her wolf form. I could tell that her wolf and her were struggling for control. Obviously the wolf half of her was the one lolling their tongue to the side in a canine smile, while Melody was glaring at me through the eyes. “Let me try to clear some things up for you while I drive and you’re a captive audience back there.” I began. Melody huffed at me in annoyance. “First of all my name is Theodor Grave, like I said on Friday. I am the leader of the Grave Hounds biker gang. Most of the people I know call me Teddy.” It was a little far to her house, about thirteen or so minutes from the Main Street. It was going to be a decent drive there. “My gang usually stays in some cities every now and then to resupply and rest before heading out again. Not a lot of us like staying in one place for too long…” I checked the rear view mirror to see if she was listening; her wolf having its ears perked up in rapt attention. I told her all about my gang and the wolves in it, that I was the a younger son of an alpha, and random things to pass the time. We drove in silence for a while, I was taking in the views while driving. We were almost to her street now; the houses were further apart than directly in the town, it was obvious her house was just on the edge of the town limits. I glanced in the mirror to look at Melody. She seemed a little more relaxed. “Here we are.” I stopped in front of a decent sized two story house. The house was covered in white vinyl siding with navy blue shutters on the windows. The roof was one of those copper color metal ones, making the house look like it could be on a postcard. There was a nice porch that took up the front of the house, and a brick sidewalk leading up to the door. A white picket fence completed the picture. I would have believed an older couple could have lived there if I didn’t know Melody had been married. I got out of the suv and went around to open the door for her. Melody jumped out and headed to the front door. Hot on her heels, I had the keys ready in my hand. When I unlocked the door for her, she pushed it open with her snout. Melody darted inside and yipped at me. I watched as she nudged the door closed and disappeared. I guess I’m supposed to wait here. I looked around and saw two rocking chairs on the porch and sat down to wait again for the second time that day. I hoped no one took my brownies I accidentally left at the bakery.Melody’s POV I was aghast with myself; trying desperately to get my wolf back under control, but the animal side of me was not having it. Melody’s POV Bzzzzt Bzzzzt, I gasped awake, sweating all over. My phone vibrated in my hand; the alarm I set on my phone flashing one pm. Damn, I thought, that was hot. I never had a wet dream like that before, and definitely never had one about someone I had only met once. I stretched and put my shoes back on deciding to park back at the pack house and take a short walk to the bakery, the day was beautiful and I did not want to waste such nice weather being inside. When I arrived, the motorcycle was the only thing in the lot, everyone else more than likely going somewhere for lunch. Walking down to the bakery, I was hit with the smell of something enticing; stirring up my wolf and making her perk up. The wind was blowing from the bakery, a figure sitting down and eating something from a box. When I got closer, the smell hit me full blast, I could make out the facial features. “fuck.” I got out before chaos ensued. ***** Teddy’s POV I couldn’t believe my luck as I saw Melo
Melody’s POV I trotted up the steps of my house, and waited for Teddy. At least I knew a little bit about this male now, but I still didn’t like the fact that I had to rely on him right at this moment. I hated to admit it, but I secretly hoped that he saw me shift, if only to get a reaction from him, but he seemed to be the perfect gentleman. I thought I had smelled arousal on him for a second, but I could have been wrong. When he opened the door for me, I quickly made it inside and yipped at him, hopefully he got the message to stay. I looked around, making sure that the curtains were drawn tight, then shifted back into my human form. That was so embarrassing I thought to myself. I hadn’t lost full control of my wolf since I was ten. Most werewolf books I had read for humans were wrong in the department of werewolves getting their wolf at a certain age. We were always born with our wolf. It is a part of is, so it is always there. What triggers the shift usually is hormonal. Fo
Melody’s POV Turning off the alarm, I crawled out of bed and headed for the shower, another steamy dream leaving me wanting. Normally I was up by three; at the bakery by four thirty, prepping for the day. It felt weird to be getting up so late on a Monday. After the cold shower, I went down stairs to the kitchen. I had prepped the dough for the donuts yesterday and had put it in the fridge to slowly rise for this morning. I cut and shaped them into various sizes; classic, twisted, and filled. I saved the holes from the classic to make some bites out of them. I let them rest as I prepped the oil for frying. Once they were fried and the classic glazed while they were warm, I let the others cool off. The twists I dusted with cinnamon and sugar. The filled I put a vanilla custard in the center and topped them with leftover caramel icing from the cupcakes Saturday. After all was said and done, I had two dozen to bring with me to the pack house. Alpha Scot
Melody’s POV After everything I did for Mike, for him to pull this stunt really was the one thing that broke my heart. He knew how much the business meant to me, and to jeopardize it in such a fashion was really the last straw. I spent the rest of the day going through the house and getting the rest of Mike’s things, which wasn’t much after his clothing. It was like he just moved in and left things as they were, not even making his own mark. The only place that really was almost all his was the basement, where his home gym set up was. Movers came by at six that evening with a list from the lawyer what they would be taking and I directed them where to go. It took them two hours just to get the exercise machines from the basement. After all was said and done I was exhausted and worn out. I went to the living room and sat down on a wingback chair, snacking on some macarons from Monday. Looking back on everything, I should have saw the signs of M
Melody’s POV “I told you the other day on the phone, stop calling me Babe.” I had requested mediated phone calls that week as I had gotten the layer to set up today for Mike to get his things. “You can come into the living room until the lawyer gets here; but that’s it” Mike huffed and shoved past me into the house. The living room was small, but cozy. One wall was covered in wooden bookshelves, and the other a fireplace with a television mounted above it. The third wall had a picture window that looked out at the street. Mike sat in the winged back chair and looked to me. “How has your week gone, Mells?” Mike attempted small talk, sensing the tension in the air. “Fine, except for the fact that my husband fucked who I thought was my best friend of three years.” I spit out husband like the word was poisoned. Mike flinched at the bite in my voice. “Erm, uh, well I’m happy to hear that you’re doing okey…” After another few minutes of both of us sitting i
