I kept looking between the screen and the doctor to understand if everything was ok. My grip on Alesso's hand tightened in anticipation. He pecked my forehead making me lock my eyes with him and he gave me a reassuring smile but it was not the same. He still seems angry.

But it relaxed me a bit by knowing he was comfortable now than he was before. My eyes found the doctor who was looking at the screen with a smile, bringing out a smile of my own and letting go of the breath I hadn't realised I was holding.

"Everything looks good," she said keeping her eyes on the screen. "The uterus is now healed, so is the tissue lining. The baby's growth looks healthy, having a stable heartbeat and positioning."

I looked at Alesso with a smile beaming on my face knowing our baby is doing good. He looked so happy, not removing his eyes off the screen.
