Chapter 31 – New Chapter

“Blake!” I glared at him hard since he kept teasing me. I wanted a pizza so bad so I ordered one. Blake was the one who picked it up when it got deliver. He teased me by making me reach for it.

“It’s not free, Jean.”

“I bought it, you asshole!”

“Give me a kiss first.” He smirked, I punched his stomach making him to bend his body down. I took the pizza from his hand easily.

“That’s cheating.” He tried to take it from me again but I got it.

“Don’t tease a hungry girl, we turn into a lion.” I said as I opened the pizza box.

“Can you give me a kiss?” He asked and I turned to him. I gave him a peck on his lips but he cupped my face kissing me more.

“How’s work today?” I asked Blake.

Speaking about work, I told my agency about what happened. I talked to the VS company too about this. They told me to take rest and let me have 3 months break. I need to heal since the bullet wounds was quite deep and as a model it will be visible when I wear a bikini.

Blake insisted that I don’t need to work since he will take care of me but I told him that I want to work. We argued about this last week and I won.

It’s been around 2 weeks since that horrifying scene. I was healing quite fast and Blake has been so great. He was so sweet and being with him everyday turned out so great.

He took care of me, I just can’t thank enough for this new chapter of life.

“Cola? Water?” Blake asked.

“Water please.” I answered.

“Thankyou.” I said as he put a glass of water in front of me. I ate my pizza and enjoyed it so much.

“Jean..” He called and I looked up to him.

“Yeah?”

“Repay me.” He stated and I looked at him confuse.

“Repay what?’

“Everything.” That got me super confuse.

“Don’t worry, I earn a lot of mo-“

“Not that silly.” He ruffled my hair and laughed.

“Then what?”

“Go to Greece with me next month.” My eyes widen and I can’t help but jump in happiness. I threw my pizza and jumped to him. I squealed so bad and hugged him tightly.

“Are you serious?”

“Of course, I told you that I will make you happy.”

“Thankyou, Blake!” I hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek.

“Now can you give me a kiss?” He asked and I kissed him that second. I just love him so much, yes I love him. I know that I love since last week, the feelings was so strong and I don’t want to deny it.

He’s everything to me now.

Suddenly his phone rang, I released the hug so he can answer it. I ate my pizza again. Blake looked at his phone screen and I glanced. It’s his mom.

“Hello.” He picked it up.

“I told you I don’t- what?” I looked at him worried, he face fell and he looked at me. His face starting to get paled.

“Declan was in critical state.” I knew that his dad came to him to give him all the heritage without getting married. He told me that his dad was sick but that’s it.

“Let’s go!” I said and he nodded. He was panic and I knew he still has a soft spot for his dad even though his dad hurted him.

We ran out from the house and got into the car. Blake drove out from the house and speed up to the hospital. He was silent all the time and I was worried about him.

As soon as we got into the hospital, we ran inside. Blake knew his room so we don’t need to ask the nurse for it. We ran there and there were a group of doctors in his room.

Blake’s mom was crying at the side and the doctor was trying to save his dad. The monitor kept showing that his heartbeat was so weak. Blake looked at it in horror and his face fell. I held him to assure him that his dad will be okay and nothing bad won’t happen.

The doctors kept trying to save him by giving him a new oxygen tube and things in medical state. Blake held his mom tightly in a hug. Blake was in panic state but he’s still assure his mom to not worried.

Suddenly the heartbeat line with straight, all of us was shocked. The doctors came with a medical tool to help him. Blake’s mom was crying in agony seeing him like that.

I kept praying that he will be okay.

Suddenly the line went back and the doctors let out a breath of relieve. The doctors checked on him to make sure he’s okay now.

One of the doctor came to Blake and told Blake that Declan’s health was slowly going down hill. Declan needs a lot of rest and theraphy. Declan also mentally sad so his health was slowly going down along his health.

“He will wake up in a few hours, please don’t let him feel sadness since it will make his health worse.” I think Declan was sad that Blake doesn’t want to talk to him. His mom said that he’s change but Blake doesn’t believe it.

I knew it’s hard to forgive someone who hurted us physically and mentally. I guess Declas realized his fault and change for real. He came to Blake giving all his heritage to Blake and all he wanted was to talk to Blake.

After everything was stable, Blake’s mom sat on the chair beside Declan’s hospital bed. Blake looked at his dad blankly and then he walked out from the room. I knew I have to be there for him just like he was there for me. I followed him and he was going to the emergency stairs.

He was punching the wall when I got in. He looked at me with his eyes filled with tears. I walked to him and hugged him tightly. He let out by crying and I stayed silent. I patted his back gently and just let him cry.

Blake was slowly stop crying, he released the hug and I wiped his tears.

“Isn’t it the time for you to open a new chapter, Blake?” I asked in a soft tone. He looked at me shaking his head.

“You helped me to have a new chapter of life, why don’t you try it too? I know somewhere inside here, you still love him.” I pointed at his heart and he hugged me again.

“Forgiving is not an easy task but everyone needs a second chance. Forgive him and start a new chapter before it’s too late.” I said as I patted his back.

“What will I do without you?” He said and I smiled. I released the hug and kissed his cheek.

“Now, let’s go back. Your mom needs you too.” I held his hand and pulled him out from the emergency stairs. I held his hand tightly and patted it to calm him down.

We walked into the hospital room again and his mom was crying. Blake went to her and hugged her tightly. I wish that Blake’s dad wake up soon. I believe his dad will be okay.
