Chase dropped his phone with a sigh. This lady was really stubborn! Leo had just called and informed him of her response. She expected an apology from him.

That was expected.

She was stubborn, and would not let him off the hook easily. She had her pride, he had bruised it. Now, he had to swallow his, and then go and make a proper apology to her. He sighed, rubbing his temples. He needed her for his daughter, if not, he would not have bothered.

Now the wedding was fast approaching, he needed her to keep Dawn away from all the rowdy and busy preparations. He would see her after work, right now, he needed to see that Spanish investor.
