The sound of the ambulance and the continuous shouting matched Amelia’s heartbeat. Sharon ran beside her, trying to calm her down, but Amelia pushed through every person and thing until she got to the hospital reception.

The disadvantage of her speed was that she couldn’t say a word as she tried to catch her breath. Thankfully, Sharon was quick to ask the receptionist, “Michael Afonso.”
