Once we were alone, Lisa covered her face and sneezed.

"Bless you," I responded.

"Excuse me," she said afterward and hurried into the bathroom. When she came out, I noticed she had washed her hands and face, and seeing the way she was shivering, I immediately got an idea to help out the situation.

"Let me have your wet clothes," I told her. "I'll take them to the landlady and ask for her machine so I could dry them. Afterward, I would dry mine too."

She nodded, "Okay, thank you so much."

She was about to get back into the bathroom when I said, "Hold on. About earlier...I mean introducing you as my financee... I'm sorry.

I was afraid that if I started explaining that you were my brother's fiancee, the landlady would get the wrong idea and refuse to rent out the only available room to us."

She smiled, "About that, I wanted to thank you for coming up with such a smart response. I really needed a good place to rest my head and you made that possible."

Her words made me sigh in relie
