Chapter 46

"What?" Lily yelled and she turned awake in a second. She looked at the phone screen and it displayed, 'Rosy'.

"Lily! Lily! Save me!" Rosy screaming terrified her even more.

"Who are you? Why did you kidnap her?" Lily asked as she was aware of Rosy's background. But calling her, instead of her parents, gave her an answer that her friend was kidnapped because of her. 'I shouldn't have met her,' guilt surrounded her.

"For money!" The guy on the other side answered and laughed aloud again as if a sarcastic laugh was necessary after every statement.

"Sir, I think you have some misunderstanding. My friend is a worker in a small hotel. What money could you make from her?" Lily put on an act to check if they knew about her or not!

"Mrs. Cooper, don't play smart!" The guy roared and Lily's heart raced. "Do as I say? If anyone knows about this, I will make sure that you wouldn't be able to identify your friend's dead body!"

"I...I don't have money," Lily mumbled, crumbling the blanket
