Chapter 13: Interview

Rosalynn's POV.

The sound of the phone ringing woke me up. As usual, I reached for my phone on the nightstand to the right of the bed and answered, "Hello?"

“Rosalynn Carter!” Katherine sounded like she was screaming in annoyance on the other end of the line.

My dreamy state was immediately completely awakened by her voice. I suddenly sat up, and looked at the familiar bedroom space and his sandalwood scent lingering around me.
