Chapter 63: Damn coincidence

Nolan’s POV.

The feeble punches raining down on my chest didn’t actually hurt at all, but seeing Rosalynn both scold me and cry, I couldn’t bear to watch her tears fall.

Gripping her wrists tightly, I sternly said, "Calm down, Rosalynn!"

The room fell into silence for a moment as it was just the two of us here.

"Give me that stack of pictures, I know what I have to do." She struggled to break free from me, and I reluctantly let go, fearing that such agitated actions would harm the baby in her womb.

Before I could continue, my petite woman erupted in a fit of anger, glaring at me. "While I'm unfairly accused and criticized by many, you still want to conceal everything and protect her?"

"I need to clarify this with Christine before making any rash decisions. If she's truly wrong, I'll make her apologize to you."
