Chapter 2

 "And who would that girl be? you won't know the girl, the girl is a very beautiful, girl" says Maya and she smiled.

"she is the daughter of Prince Patrick," says Maya.

"you mean Prince Patrick, the chairman of Oriental group of companies," says William Dakova, and she dropped his phone on the table, and he called his wife's attention to what had happened between them. 

"Please, I don't want us to drag these matters of marriage, but I will like you to think about it very well because that couple is trickish, I don't want to do anything with them, especially marriage issue," says William and he stood left his wife Maya alone on the table.

"William, wait, it's not what you're thinking, I can explain," Maya says and she ran following her husband to the stairs.

"Listen to my explanation, I want our son to marry that girl because she will be useful to us in so many ways, " says Maya and she holds her husband's hands and she said "let's go there and sit down," Maya says.

"may I ask you one question, hope you didn't stake on her?" William asked and he turned his face to another side.

"Yes I did because if I didn't, he won't agree for his daughter to marry our son, and we need her assistance in our new establishment, you know, she's the CEO of oriental cables," says Maya and she turned round to glance at her husband.

 "Tell me, how much did you stake on her? William asked.

"Half a billion," Maya says.

 "What^, half a billion, why don't you close our bank accounts because you want our son to marry a girl that you don't know what will become of her," says William and he angrily entered their room.

"try and understand, I have my reason for my motives," says Maya" and tell me what is the reason for your motives," says William,

 "You just want to endanger our son's life, why do you like problems, and you know me too well that I don't like anything problems, please call them and tell them that you have withdrawn your statement while doing such a thing without notifying me, call them now and tell them that you are just cracking jokes," says William with annoyance.

"Don"t worry, I will never reverse my word, since you're short-sighted about this marriage Issue, the advantage of our son marrying that girl is far better than marrying that his girlfriend from a poor background,  his girlfriend has nothing to offer, on like this girl, she has a lot of potentials that we can benefit," says Maya.

"Look, woman, I don't care about any benefit or potential, but how could you stake such a huge amount of money on a girl that you didn't know much about, if you tell me that you wanted to take revenge, it's another thing entirely, but I didn't buy the idea, I will never be part of your team in taken revenge," says William.

 "Please just give me chance to do what I have in my mind to do for Prince Patrick and his family, let them feel the same bitterness that we felt back then when betrayed us," says Maya and she burst into tears uncontrollably.

"Please put all those things behind you, forget the issues of retaliation and revenge," says William.

"It's not easy to forget because I knew the pains that I underwent and I knew what we lost in the process of his stupid act," says Maya and she's still crying.

 "Okay let me ask you a question, what of if they didn't like themselves, are you going to force them to be together, think of what you are about to do, I don't think  It will work out," says William.

"If I have your support, it will work out fine, will you support me," Maya asked.

"but the money involved is too much because am not ready to release that kind of money for marriage's sake," says William.

"We're not paying any money in vain, we are paying the money to buy the cable company which the girl is running," says Maya, and she smiled a little bit.

 "If it worked that way fine and if it doesn't work out as you planned, it is going to be disastrous," says William.

 "I have met her on many occasions, I have seen her well, I have seen the way she walked her way to boost her father's company, and apart from the way she handed her company, she will make a good wife to our son, and she will be a good daughter in law, " says Maya and she smiled to her husband and also held his hand.

"And if she doesn't live up to your expectation?" William asked and he still frowned his face.

"l have a strong belief that she will make us happy in our investment, and she will live to love our son," says Maya, and she picked up her phone to call Tompson.

 "Hello, son" Maya says on phone calls.

 "See me tomorrow after closing hours, please don't bring Mary alongside with you because we have a discussion," says Maya.

 "Alright mum, says Tompson and he ended the phone call.

"After all what, we have discussed so far on this matter, you still wanted to continue, well anything you might have seen there, don't share it on my table because I warned you," says William, and he enters the bedroom sat on the couch that is inside room.

“Don't worry, things will work out according to our plan, I strongly believed" says Maya, and she smiled, 

"Have it at the back of your mind that, I won't release such a high amount of money without seeing the proof that he's ready to sell the company" says William and he changed his cloth to a bathrobe.

 "I will show you something now on my phone," says Maya and she brought her phone to check out all the advertisements on advertising companies and said," prince Patrick has already put the cable company on sale, I saw it on the advertising platform three days ago, that was the reason I went to confront him and offered him such amount" explained Maya.
